He now walks normally again and probably is used to the fact that his tail hangs useless down.
Fortunately cats recover quick and he got back his balance.
Now the only thing which is very hard for both of us is the fact that he wants to go out ! And this he manifests by meowing loud ! (very loud !) and that is terrible.
Arthur with his "walking cord" on the leash
Big Brother is still watching !
Kim has to check this new thing too !
And after 3 h on leash and cord he finally agreed to nap !

That Arthur has enough adventures for a dozen cats! Never a dull moment. A broken tail is sad but he can purr himself well, cats have amazing healing powers. ( personally I think all the NAPPING has something to do with it as well. When doesn't a nap make one feel better?))
Oh, my!! Poor Arthur! I do hope his tail recovers! What a horrible thing to have happen! He is very brave to want to go back outside again after such trauma. You & Mr. Gattino stay calm and let Arthur & Mother Nature take their course. I will keep you all in my thoughts. D :)
Hi, thanks for your message! Awww, poor Arthur! I hope his tail will be all right! Our new kitty Indigo has a kink in the tip of her tail. The vet said it probably got caught in a door at some point and broke! She seems to have adjusted to it quite well, don't know when it happened to her. Anyway, hope ARthur recovers quickly!
I'm so sorry to hear of Authurs misfortune. It really had to hurt, whaterver it was that happened to him. I will keep him and you in my thoughts, if he does have to have it clipped, having a stub isn't too bad, rather chic these days. But I hope he recovers well.
Like my Oregon sky? always overcast until the sun sets... but it's fun to take pictures every Saturday. It gives me a challeng to find interesting ways to display an overcast sky. It's called a marine layer. From the coast, only the coast is and hour and a half and a mountain range away.
Keep getting better Arthur!!
I'm glad Arthur has adapted to his floppy tail. It's cute that he's happy to walk around tied to the rope across the yard. Arthur is one special kitty ... not many would do this !!
Take care, Meow
Keeping up the good thoughts for Arthurs tail. You and Mr. Gattino go through so much for your cats I can't decide to smile or cry for you! My Benjamin is a tailless cat and he does fine. Arthur will adjust if he doesn't get the use of the tail back and it has to be removed, such a bummer. Sorry
