Each time when one of us is in the bathroom Arthur has to be there too. He watches exactly what you are doing.

After a while he had enough and started to groom


When he thought he was clean enough, he climbed out of the tube

CATS ON TUESDAY

Old Lisa had to go back to the vet. She had started again to yowl this time not during the night but from 4 am to 10 pm ! It was impossible. On top of that she had started to pee everywhere. She had done this already before but not so much as now.


So I carried her to the vet. After a check up, she (the vet) said that Lisa is in excellent health and has no physical problems. It's psychological ! What have I done to this cat ?? Not even my son shows psychological problems !

At home Lisa was thirsty

and hungry (as usual )

and then took a nap to be strong enough to meauw the whole afternoon. But it is far better now, since she has to take one happy pill per day and not anymore only a half. I only hope she soon would stop peeing too, otherwise I have to cork her up !

Talking about cork, while I had to take a picture of Arthur to make a card for a friend, I just thought I could tease him a little bit this time with a grey mouse.

I put it on his head. Arthur was still a little sleepy and didn't move

I put another mouse besides his paw, still no reaction !

Then he yawned ! Still not realizing what had woken him up,

The mouse fell down, and he didn't even notice ! After a while he decided to turn around and continue his nap. I had laughed enough and left him in peace !

PS. According to the comments, there is no worry about Lisa's health ! She is in a very good shape, has put on too much weight and plays like a little kitten ! She is the boss in this household !

ARTHUR's LATEST OCCUPATIONS

CATS ON TUESDAY

Arthur was happy that the roof of our garden shed had been repaired. Last week came two men with a lot of interesting stuff which Arthur had to inspect and while they were working and hammering and sawing, Arthur sat there and controlled everything. He also looked in the men's bag to check if there were not a little breakfast inside. Unfortunately for him it wasn't. As soon as the new roof was on the shed, Arthur climbed on it and settled down. Now the world for him was in order again.

This morning he came back from his work under the neighbor's cars and had a black tail. He gave me a slap with his paw when I tried to clean it. But he kept his claws inside it was just to show me that he could do the cleaning himself but first he had to have something to eat.

He watched Lisa just to check if the served meal was good. But Lisa is not a good food taster, she eats everything eatable. Then he tried himself but didn't like it.

So he climbed on the kitchen board and looked inside the empty cans. It was the same food, but it tasted apparently better because he leaked what was left on the border.

and as water tastes much better from the tap he had a little drink before he went to bed to have his well earned nap.

As you can see he had cleaned his tail before. Arthur takes care of himself ! White is delicate to wear !

Rosie was a little upset that he didn't play with her and decided to take a little nap too.

7 RANDOM THINGS ABOUT ARTHUR

Poor Arthur has been tagged by Sharlene and my Spice cats and by Aloysius and even has to respect rules, which is really against his cat nature ! But the worst cat can sometimes be in a good mood and cooperative.

1. Arthur has the funniest sleeping poses I have ever seen. He even falls deeply asleep when he sits. On this picture he just woke up.

2. He is as curious as a concierge and knows everybody in the neighborhood

3. He is a brave cat and doesn't look for fights or troubles


4. He loves humans, from XXXL to XS the latter size being noisy and always persecuting him, especially the toothless miniatures. But that also doesn't bother him



5. He loves to sleep in wardrobes and jump out in the right moment to cause heart attack, but he has no commission on that from our doctor.




6. He is a very helpful cat. Here he helps taking blood pressure. He also assists with digging in gardens, washing cars and leaving paw prints when they are clean, climbs in the doctor's bag when he is on a visit and walks the postman around to check if he puts the letters in the right mail boxes.



7. He loves to look cute and therefore obtain everything he wants

Now I should tag 7 (seven in letters !!!) other cats to do the same, but there I give up, I really don't know seven who are ready to divulge their most intim character traits ! But you are free to play if you wish of course !

ARTHUR ON LEASH AND CORD

Mr. Gattino fat up of walking Arthur around invented something new. He put a cord from one end to the other of the garden, that way Darling Arthur can walk from one end to the other !

He now walks normally again and probably is used to the fact that his tail hangs useless down.
Fortunately cats recover quick and he got back his balance.

Now the only thing which is very hard for both of us is the fact that he wants to go out ! And this he manifests by meowing loud ! (very loud !) and that is terrible.

Kim has to check this new thing too !

And after 3 h on leash and cord he finally agreed to nap !
