CATS ON TUESDAY - FUN IN THE GARDEN

CATS ON TUESDAY

I hoped that I wouldn't have this view anymore now that spring has started ! After more than 6 months of looking at sleeping cats I really want to see them moving !

Old lady Lisa (17) has lost more and more of her hairs around her neck and even a little on her head ! The poor thing really looks now as if mites had been in her fur

but apparently that doesn't bother her at all, she has a very good appetite and even stole one of Rosie's mousies to play with it. The shot she had got from the vet for her fur hasn't helped yet.

But she seems to be fine because she doesn't yowl anymore during the nights thanks to her "happy pill".

Little Rosie has discovered our garden now and goes out more and more. Not very far but she seems to love it

I had bought some plants and wanted to put them in this pot so she came out to help me

Little twigs on the grass are so nice to play with !

I also had put my ceramic cats outside,

Rosie hadn't seen them yet.

Under our weeping willow is our animal grave yard. I cleaned it today supervised by Rosie of course

Pookie too came outside but when she saw me with the camera she quickly ran behind the

garden shed and I had to do some gymnastic to get this picture of her

and of course Rosie had to go there too !

Only Arthur didn't show up. He probably visited our neighbors and played the starving cat. His appetite has decreased which means that he found better food and probably catnips by visiting his human friends !

But then from time to time he shows up to play in his tent !

It is 00.42 and I'm the first in the night. I enjoy to admire Lisa, Rosie, Pookie in the garden, who have good time during a beautiufl spring day! Arthur is a social cat! He understand people must have contacts together and enjoy to taste the food in the others cats' families.

I know what you mean, Gattina. But now I think the sleeping means that they are exhausted from being out. It is suddenly wonderful outside and they stay out all day. So I still don't see them!! I laughed when I saw Arthur asleep on the bed: he knows how to do it right!

Springtime is a great time to be a kittie! Rosie seems to be the gang leader, Gattina! But Arthur is so funny! We're glad Lisa isn't yowling anymore. If she doesn't mind less furs on her head, why should we?

Poor lisa! She does look a little messy. But maybe the excitement of spring and being out again will put her hormones back to proper levels. And teh others are surely having a ball...

It seems odd to me that you let your cats out in good weather. In So. CA we have to worry about feline leukemia and we don't let ours out anymore. I'm surprised Arthur is venturing outside again, but I guess that is good for him. Happy Cats on Tuesday!

Yeah...we have spring here too. Finally!!!
Lisa is a sweety in the garden. Our Frieda also prefer to remain near the house.
Luzie and Luna love it to go to a big field near our street.
Poor Lisa, but it is good she is feeling better with her pills.
Nice to see Pookie!
Happy Tuesday!

It looked like fun to have everyone out for a nice BBQ now Gattina. Why is Pookie always that camera shy? I'm still wondering what pose you were in to shoot Pookie.. haha. Anyway, I wondered if you had got my email. There's an award attached for you. I'm still resting from my flu here and staying away from the computer for few days.

Rosie looks like an excellent supervisor and helper. I bet she does like the fresh air and twigs and birds chirping! I always enjoy having mine hang out with me when I work in my plants and pots!

Excellent pictures.

Rosie, it looks like you are enjoying the garden. :) We think you are very brave to go outside without a harness. We went outside on the weekend, but it was on our harnesses.

It's great to see the kitties out enjoying the spring. Those pics of Rosie and Pookie and the ceramic cats are cute. We're sorry that Lisa is having so much trouble with her furs, but glad to hear that she's feeling better.

I'm so glad that Lisa isn't crying at night anymore! And I'm glad Lisa, Rosie, and Pookie are enjoying the nice Spring weather. Arthur looks quite happy in the tent, though I can't blame him: I enjoy our tent, too! *smile*

Purrs and snuggles from Marilyn!

Poor Lisa, losing more of her fur! But it doesn't bother her so I guess she doesn't care! Enjoyed the pictures of the cats outside. About sleeping cats, mine are sleeping even *more* now that the sun is out and shining. They look for the sunny spots and zzzzzzzzzzz! LOL
