Arthur was peacefully ironing my socks, when suddenly

he heard strange noises ! People in the garden ! Forgetting his quite round volume and his age, he jumped down and ran like a youngster in the garden !

Indeed there were two people there ! After having said hello and let himself be petted (he is a generous cat) he started to help undo the cords !

Then helped with the ladder

and the hose. Now he got it ! they will clean the roof ! How interesting ! But when they went on the roof and started to clean with water, he quickly ran inside and

collapsed on the sofa, exhausted from all this work and almost slipped down !

During this time, Rosie was sleeping on my bed, and when suddenly she heard something on the roof !

What was that ? People walking on the roof ? She couldn't believe it, turned around and prefered to settle down again and sleep pretending that everything was normal

Old Lisa wasn't disturbed at all ! she continued her morning clean ups in her basket showing her thinner getting fur and also her bald belly.

We have stopped giving her the "happy pill" because she doesn't yowl during the nights any more, she only wakes me up at 4 am but that she has always done probably because at that time I had to get up anyway to visit my private litterbox.

Now she makes strange sounds all day it's difficult to describe, it is not a meow it sound as if she was very sad and complaints in a quite loud voice. It gets on our nerves but nothing helps ! After having fed her (at least 10 times/day) pet her, sat her on our laps, or besides the keyboards, then loosing temper and "throwing" her out, two seconds later she is back through the cat flap like a boomerang and starts complaining again ! I think she will get in the Guiness book as the most stubborn and bullheaded cat of the world ! The only thing which helps a little bit and stops her from complaining is a little orange octopus or a little green turtle, (apparently she loves sealife) then she plays like a kitten ! Only this kitten is 17 years old ! Not bad isn't it ?

Oh my, I think I'm first. Usually I am just absent these days.

Arthur had quite a fit of youthful energy didn't he! I have rarely seen a photo of him with his eyes open. Pretty eyes!

I love that photo of Rosie looking surprised. Very funny, I had to laugh out loud at it!

And Lisa is quite full of energy for a 17 year-old girl. Bravo!

Lisa is a nice "dame" of 17 years old! Arthur is curious! Nice to see he helped in the roof! the only one who could have a such attitude is my Tigger who is always in front of the house looking at all! Rosie doesn't need to receive the visitors when her Arthur does a great job!
Happy COT! I come back in the evening!

I love to see Arthur helping with the roof. He is always curious.
Funny to see the other cats when there are the people in your garden.

Poor old lady Lisa. I can imagine that she miss her happy pills.
But i´m glade to see her playing with the red octopus.

Good for ARthur to be so helpful! And it's only right after a hard day's work to have a nap. I loved the look on Rosie's face too and was quite impressed with LIsa's playing on the video. I was reading in Cats magazine that older cats get a form of Alzheimer's and they forget where they are and who they are, where the litterbox is and that's why they yowl, they are confused and scared. Dunno if that's what's up with Lisa or not.

The girl does still have game! Poor thing, it is tough on animals and humans getting old. I just wonder if she has some form of old age dementia and thinks she has kittens somewhere or something.

Arthur truly looked pooped! What a funny image, he was barely hanging on the sofa!

Arthur you are such a bold kitty,
checking things in your backyard!
Rosie sweet as always with a smile!
I am glad Lisa is doing/feeling better, it is good you give her
that extra dose of love to get her
through her "golden years"!
I hope you have a wonderful week
with your furever kitties! :)

Glad to see that Lisa is doing well, that's really cute how she plays with the "sea life."

Looks like a lot of activity there, with Arthur helping the roof cleaners. We're going to be having some work done on our building on Thursday, I don't think Luna will like that at all...

I love your photos, Gattina. Arthur sleeping, Rosie's eyes, your video . . . just great! They are the characters. I am sorry you are still having problems with Lisa. Could it be thyroid? I have no idea — just tossing out some.

I've heard older cats like Lisa often start making more noises like that but can't remember the reason. I think she is still young at heart!

Arthur, you are a big help! Quite the good snoopervisor. You deserved that good nap.

Rosie looks so cute in that "surprise" photo! Imagine if she'd known it was a human on the roof!

I've heard that even the quietest older kitties often make more sounds as they get to be Lisa's age. I can't remember why. She is still a kitten at heart tho!

Arthur, you're a great snoopervisor and I'm sure a big help. I'd have hidden from the water too. Enjoy that well deserved nap!

Rosie darling, you look so cute and surprised at the noise! You're such a sweetie!
