Mr. Gattino looked cross-eyed to the ceiling and complained that he is waiting since 3 months for one button to be sewed on his jeans.
Lisa escaped when she saw me with the collar in my hand, but then allowed me to put it on.
Pookie, when she saw the collar, stretched her head out and was happy to have a new one ! She is a vain cat !
and poor Arthur instead of getting a new collar got his monthly medicine against fleas. But as he slept, he didn't even notice this event and I could even leave the little tube on his back for the picture.
Arthur is a special cat not only in behaviour but also for fleas. He attracts them. One flea in the room is for Arthur and one flea in the whole town would take wives (I think a flea is not monogamous) and children and move in his fur. I wonder if they think they are doing wintersport ?

Hello, Gattina. Thank you for visiting my blog. To answer your question, besides being a town in Ireland, a limerick is a five line poem with three long lines and two short lines. The long lines use the same rhyme and the short ones use a different rhyme. I like the collars you made for your cats. I laughed at the mental picture I got of the fleas doing winter sports in Arthur's fur. I will blogroll you.
Hi Gattina
Thanks for visiting my blog too. You have some beautiful cats and I love the collars you made. Your cats sound like they have a great life :).
Those collars are pretty!
Fleas will head for anything white in color. They love it. Poor Arthur!
Love the new necklaces you made for the girls! Ours won't wear collars, they'd hang themselves trying to get out of them! LOL D :)
Hello Gattina, I love your kitty blog and would like to add it to my pet links on my pet blog. Is this okay. ~Poi Mom Jane
the collars are very lovely, wow.
Caesar and Princess would never wear a collar, how sad. They would look beautiful too.
Your three kitties are very lucky and happy
The new collars look wonderful ... the cats should wear them proudly. Poor Arthur, must be the fact he is white ... it must attract the pesky little fleas.
Have a great weekend.
Take care, Meow
Those are very pretty collars! Poor Arthur, sorry to hear about the fleas!
I have a wonderful suggestion for ridding Arthur (and anyone else of course) of fleas! Buy and use lavender oil. Just a few drops in the fur and the fleas literally will RUN away from the smell. Not only is the lavender a lot nicer smelling than that tube stuff, but its non-toxic, and won't get greasy stuff everywhere. We use the lavender oil on us when we hike and the mosquito's stay away too. I read about this on a site for natural flea repellent because Benjamin is an outside cat and he was getting fleas and earmites, since I started using lavender oil on him, he doesn't have fleas. We used a combination of olive oil and vitamin e oil in his ears for the mites and they are gone too!
The new collars are lovely and I hope the girls are showing them to Yanouk and that he's jealous, or are they jealous of his t-shirt pants??
