CATS ON TUESDAY

I am actually at the South East coast of the UK in Eastbourne, staying with friends.

It's a beautiful place.

Before I left last Thursday, it was terribly hot (95 F) and Arthur and Rosie tried to cool themselves in the shade on the not so cool tiles !

I had moved my "office" on the terrace where Rosie kept me company and watched over the lawn mower.

This post is scheduled as my friends have no cats anymore. They went to the rainbow bridge due to their old age (almost 20).

You put your laptop in a box so you could see the screen with the sunlight? I would say that is ingenious, except... didn't any cats try to crawl inside?

It's due to be a hot one in the UK this Thursday too, especially down south, hope you manage to keep cool somewhere! I think your friends need to immediately adopt at least one cat :-)

The weather sure has been hot where you are! Those kind of temperature is considered "normal" over here (all year round!) so we are used to it.
It must be hard when you (and the kitties) are used to cooler weather.

Enjoy your holiday!

We've been told it is going to be around 90F here this coming Thursday which means it will be humid too as we've had lots of rain this week. Bring a fan Gattina!

That is hot, though not unbearably so ;)

Enjoy your time on the UK coast.

We do hope things have cooled down there since these pictures of Arthur and Rosie cooling themselves!

Sorry to hear about your friend's cats passing away. 20 is a nice long life for a kitty, though!
