CATS ON TUESDAY
Weather in Belgium
This summer is really lousy. It rains almost every day. My poor cats of course don't like the cats & dogs raining and stay mostly inside, doing their favourite work, sleeping ....
Lisa's fur is starting to get better and little hairs are growing back, since she had got a shot against her eczema. The rain doesn't bother her as long as it doesn't rain in her bowls.
Pookie sleeps in Rosie's basket for a change, she only takes a glance through the window and then with a disgusted look, goes back to sleep. Kim rain or not rain is outside. It's a very sleepy athmosphere here in the house I have to put matches in my eyes to keep them open.
But fortunately there are Rosie and Arthur they are not sleeping at least not Rosie. Arthur returned home from his afternoon inspections in the neighborhood and he was wet ! Wet like a sponge. Rosie as soon as she saw him jumped around his neck to kiss him as if she hadn't seen him for at least 20 years.
A rather stormy welcome !
And then she helped Arthur to dry his fur and leaked and leaked to get him dry !
Even the ears were included and Arthur had to stay still !
Together finally they made it. I was not allowed to help with a towel, Arthur hissed on me. So I just watched them washing each other.
And after such a hard work, they both fell asleep.
What should I do on a rainy afternoon ? Watching TV with Rosie. She likes to snuggle in my arm like a little baby.

You described the scene in my house in July when it rained for three weeks here. Somehow Buddy and Charlie, who hate each other, managed to not fight continuously. They knew it was live in peace or live in rain.
I like Rosie's white shoulder, when she had a left front leg around Arthur.
It's so moving to see Rosie with Arthur. They are just adorable! Chance you have with a such friendship in your house. Weather was the same in France all summer except on the Riviera. So bad that people who were camping return at home. Demain on est invité chez ma soeur pour un BBQ poisson! j'ai hâte!
Wow she is growing up quickly!
Isn't it amazing how cats shrink when they are wet?
Glad Lisa is feeling better!
Adorable pictures of all the kitties, but especially Arthur and Rosie together, and then Rosie cuddled in your arms.
It rained here today, too, but as my cats stay in, they couldn't complain about it. ;-)
Oah, Rosie is growing so fast~!
It must be very happy to hold her~!
I like to hold her as well~!
I am sorry for the bad weather, it is not happy that when the rain is too big, can't able to doing anything very smooth~!
I hope the sun shine will come out soon.
Just the cutest pictures of Arthur and Rosie!! she has really grown!
Too bad about the bad weather...the weather man already announced the end of summer over here, which means we won't have temperatures over 27ºC this year and that's fine with me.
So precious, Arther and Rosie together. It's lovely to see cats getting along so nicely.
We have had awful weather too, seems like there has hardly been a summer at all!
Pookie looks so very comfortable as sleeps in Rosie's basket!
Rosie does look like she is getting so much bigger.
I am glad her and Arthur get along so well. It is funny how a cat chooses their favorites in a household of other cats and people. All my cats now get along with each other but they have their best friends that they spend most of their time with.
Wow! Look at how big Rosie is now. Its amazing how fast they grow. Soon, she'll be as big as Arthur!
Goodness, how we could use the rain here. It gets overcast, then dries up. Sigh...
Arthur & Rosie are such a wonderful team! Working so hard to dry off! How adorable! LOL
Arthur means business when he hisses at the towel! Rosie kisses are much better!
Rosie has grown so! Still such a cutie, though! LOVElove your pictures & stories! Thanks! D :)
Great pics as always!! I love the one of Rosie snuggled in your arm!!
Have a great Tuesday!
P.S. you can update my link in your sidebar to this www.mylifeasmamajodi.com
The weather in Germany is lousy too. Its raining all the time today.
We had better weather in Italy. No summer this year in Germany.
Da wäre ich schon gerne ausgewandert;)
I love these black and white photos. Funny !!!
Rosie is a beautiful cat. Unfortunately the kitties are growing so fast...
Heute war Luna 3 Stunden draussen und dann hat es angefangen zu regnen und sie kam völlig durchnässt rein. Ach ja, Luna darf jetzt ohne Leine raus.
Have a nice day !!!
Arthur and Rosie, the two of you look very cute together. :) Rosie, you obviously do a great job of cleaning Arthur! Arthur, you are a very good big brother and role model. :)
YOUR CATS ARE ADORABLE!
I love that little Rosie, she makes me want a kitten so badly. All that love and energy just waiting on poor old Arthur. What sweet shots of the two of them and her all over him! He must be very patient! I will gladly trade you some dry weather for some rain. With 100 degree heat and no rain my trees, flowers and veggies have really suffered. I've lost alot of plants this year. We are in a severe drought.
I´m here Gattina..I´m here!
OMG is so sweet!I wanna a little sister mom..plisss!
Too bad about the bad weather here...in this moment star to rainy!(Sorry my english is so bad)
I just love those pictures of Rosie and Arthur, they are so sweet together! and about rain...it's been raining here since Sunday too. What's up with that? I thought August was supposed to be hot, humid and miserable...wait a minute, I should be glad it's raining! LOL
Sorry about the rain, but it looks like the cats are enjoying their extra sleep time. They seem to get along quite well with Rosie now. I can't believe how she has grown!!! Sorry I am so late posting today, but I wrote a quick one about two of my new babies!
Agree - this summer that was not - have been very frustrating for the cats. But look - they can really lay down and relaxe - not to say: be patient. More than their two-legs.
btw - at last I got a connection this evening - to upload one photo.
My COT post is finally up! These are the cutest photos I think I've ever seen on your blog!
I just made a short post today. With all the new stuff going on putting my computer together and getting caught up I didn't have time for a short story. I'll try for next Tuesday.
I just love Rosey...how she loves Arthur. How is his tale these days?
Hi Gattina, I love animals. It is great to see pictures of your cats. You have a cute blog here and I respect you for blogging at your age. The other person whom I know is Lifelession and she is older than you, and now she is having dementia and cannot continue blogging.
I would like to be your friend, and I have found you through Caly's blog. May I have the honour to be your friend. I have a pet blog, Every Pet Has Its Day at http://anythingpet.blogspot.com/. I will link you to my blog at Peace of Mind, http://whoispeace.blogspot.com/, which shows all my friends there. I will leave it to you which blog you prefer to link back to me.
It is perhaps a great chance that I meet you today through Caly. You have a great smile. May you consider my friendship.
Thanks you so much. Have a good day.
Wow, Gattina, Rosie has certainly grown. No longer a kitten but a young cat and she's got a lot of personality, too. She and Arthur make a good pair. He's lovely because he's so patient with Rosie. But obviously she's snuck into his heart. Aawww!
Hey, Gattina, I forgot to tell you, You haven't choose Adan's picture yet~!! Please choose one here: http://pets.webshots.com/album/557939141vEbaur And I will print to the real post card to sent to you. Please reply at my blog~!!!
Thanks a lot.
Benjamin goes outside and gets wet on purpose just so he can get towelled off. He really likes when I put the towel under his belly and pull one side up then the other, like shining shoes only it's a cat belly that's getting dried. He never hisses when I dry him, but he hates to be brushed and screams like I'm breaking bones on him. Same with Bud and Shadow - all of them hate to be brushed. Bud hisses whenever he sees the brush. Silly cats.
Hi Gattina! Would love to participate in Cats on Tuesday... how does it work?
