CATS ON TUESDAY
After a walk through Eastbourne, we had to pick up poor Lilli who had her teeth removed, because they were in a very bad state and she couldn't eat properly anymore. As Lilli is quite a shy cat and gets very emotional we picked her up as soon as the vet gave green light.

She was already awoken and waited to go home.
My friend Anne carried her to the car. She was quite good in the car and didn't "sing" very often, but when she did she had a very deep voice and that didn't fit at all on this beautiful cat !
Sophie was the most social one of all four cats, and slept with me all the time during my holidays. She also participated when visitors came and went from leg to leg to be stroken ! She also liked belly rubbing which none of the other cats did.
Lilli spend her days in the wardrobe, she only came out in the evening to be brushed and for food of course. Sometimes she made a little walk through the garden. She looked so much as Smudge that when I saw her I always took her for Smudge.
Every evening the cats lined up to be combed or brushed. That was very funny. Even the shiest once like Lilli or Pepsi they came out or in for this purpose.
at this occasion I also was allowed to pet them.. Here is Pepsi feeling much better since she had her teeth pulled out.
Smudge is really the good boy ! He only bothered and disturbed us because he was always laying in the way. But besides sleeping, seegull hunting and eating he didn't do much more. He didn't bother about anything and has iron nerves. He never gets excited about anything.
As Anne was always afraid that her cats didn't get enough food, you can see here on the picture that Smudge had quite a choice !
Mr. Smudge choose the first plate ...
I took this picture when I got up at 6 am and found Smudge as usual in the middle of every door entrance. Fortunately there was light, otherwise you could easily step on him and break your neck !
I can't tell much about my cats because I just returned from my holidays, apparently little Rosie missed me very much and she was also the only one who greated me, pleased to see me again.
Of course I had bought toys for her and had also finally found this nice feather stick, which I had seen on so many blogs, but couldn't find it in Belgium. In Eastbourne I saw them everywhere in shops. Rosie loves it and started to play with it immediately.
After half an hour of being offended and upset about my absence, finally Pookie and Lisa showed up pretending that they hadn't missed me at all. Arthur I only saw the next day when he came in for food and a play with Rosie, but he didn't give me one glance and just "supported" that I pet and greated him ! He has put on even more weight at least it seemed to me and really is now a fat white cat ! It also seems to me that he is becoming more and more lazy. Fortunately Rosie keeps him moving !

Welcome back, Gattina! I love the photo of Rosie sleeping in your suitcast. She must've just collapsed in there with relief.
Now hunting seagulls? That's one brave cat! Those things can get real nasty!
Ah, such sweet and beautiful kitties everywhere! It seems that they enhanced your vacation as well as were wonderful to come home to, despite the aloofness with which you were punished by yours briefly. ;-) Welcome home!
Oah Gattina, great to have you back. It is so happy that when you meet cats, and they seens very happy to be with you.
I am so so pleased to see Rosie, she is playing feather having lots of fun. I can see that she misses you much, She must wonder where did momma go~!? And finally sees you back she must thinks: Momma must feel I am so cute, so she is back for me~!!!
How adorable she is~!!!She really looks bigger~!!!
Give Rosie a kiss for me~!! Welcome back, again.
*michico*
Your older cats know that you come and go and I am sure they missed you too, just like Rosie...and your blog friends. I have a feline pic this time myself. But how is Pepsi supposed to eat now?? never heard of that but again: I am no cat owner!
happy tuesday!
I am so glad that you are home Gattina, as am I, but I have sad news this Tuesday.
Your little Rosie is certainly getting HUGE compared to how she was at first.
It is nice that you had kitties to enjoy in England. I had no kitties at my Dad's house and was glad to return home to mine.
Your host cats were all lovely animals. It sounds like you had a wonderful vacation. Rosie looks very cute in your suitcase. I'm sure she wondered whether you were coming back, whereas your other cats are used to you coming and going.
Aw...how cute is that--Rosie curled up in your suitcase! I was saddened to hear of the teeth being pulled.
You can't get away from cats can you! *wink* How will the kitty eat with no teeth? Rosie is a cutie!!
Welcome home, Gattina. I'm glad you were staying with cats, too, being such a cat person yourself.
I used to have a ginger cat years ago called Smudge...he was called that because he had a brown smudge on his nose.
Anyway, it's good to have you back...you were missed.
Sounds like a lovely trip with wonderful Beans and kitties to play with. I hope Pepsi and Lilli are feeling better.
Welcome back from your holidays! :)
I'm sure they were all glad to see you back home...even though they acted like they didn't miss you one bit! :-D
I thought it very sweet that Rosie leapt right into your suitcase. I think the little ones miss you and the big ones too but the older ones want you to know they are mad you left them. That is the way my cats are. Turning their backs on me when I come home from a trip!
I loved the way your friend's cats lined up to be brushed...that was cool.
Hello Gattina!
I adore the photo where Rosie is in the suitcase! She looks so funny!
Your friends are cats lovers too! Nice to see the cats on Anne to be brushed! They look as her kids!
Lilli in the wardrobe - hillarious - just like Felicia during Winter
I love cats! and yours are adorable!
OMG!!! My comment vanished!
So sorry!
Glad that you are home safe & sound. Looks like Rosie is gonna be attentive to your comings & goings. The others are all used to it by now.
Presents always bring them around, though! LOL
Glad you enjoyed your trip.
D :)
Welcome back!
What really sweet cats.
Pepsi is a great name for a cat and what a cute cat she is too!
I am glad she is feeling better after having here teeth out.
It was nice reading about the cats you spent your holiday with. I can see Rosie is delighted to have you home.
I love seeing the cats on your holiday!
I'm sure yours were much happier than they showed that you were home. You know cats must pretend that they are dissatisfied with you when you return.
Lovely Rosie in the suitcase made me laugh!
And the feather toy was a big hit at our house. We need a new one, our cats finally pulled all the feathers out, lol
oh! and i *finally* posted a Cats on Tuesday! (ok, even though it's wednesday, better late than never?)
we have two new kittens as of today, two little boys!
I've just posted my second COT entry. Love the pic of the kitty in the suitcase, perfect :)
What wonderful cats, each with a unique personality. Thanks for updating us. FAZ
