Yesterday a miracle happened ! Pookie came back to my room. She sniffed around and finally sat down on her usual place besides my computer.
The first still timid approach
But then she climbed on my (unmade) bed and settled down to take her nap. Little Rosie jumped on the bed too and after a while collapsed there too. When Pookie was gone for a few moments I quickly made my bed and as soon as it was done, they both came back
and slept together the whole afternoon (with some interruptions for Rosie to play)
and in the evening, they both came on my knees ! Pookie still is not totally assured that Rosie is not a competitor to her but it's already a good beginning. Rosie quickly learned not to go too near to her, because then she still hisses.

Isn't that lovely? But Pookie will gradually come round...she's come a long way already in a short time.
Rosie looks to be about the same age as Mango- they are so cute at this stage, I wish it would last longer. Glad to see you stopped by this morning for Photo Hunt!
Good luck with the adjustment to having two cats. A friend of Lynettea's has four kitties living indoors and she spent quite some time before the new kitties were accepted. They were also kittens, so that helped.
I have been missing all the fun with Rosie's arrival, thanks for showing me the feline way :)
I have been catching up, she is such a cute miniature! your pics are fun to watch and your stories are fun to read. I like your pic "working" with your laptop: you know I read in one blog that blogging can actually be considered a "desk job" and I totally agree!
They'll all come around eventually, except Kim of course, since Rosie isn't something to eat. I'm so glad Pookie is moved back into your room. Sometimes they have to just beat the snot out of the "competition" to believe they are still the boss of the house. I missed that you got a new kitten, but that explains why you haven't been visiting other blogs much, you're busy petting the babies!! Glad Arthur's tail is alive, hopefully he'll be waiving it high very soon. This little spitfire Rosie will help stir his tail up again, as soon as she starts playing with it and he starts moving it away from her!
I love the last two pics where the two cats are so close to each other. Little rosie is such a cutie! She is already good in climbing your leg.
Rosie is such a cutie and I love Pookie too! Hope she stops hissing soon! I miss having a kitten around..they are so full of life in their small world...which could be as large as a shoe sometimes!
Not lazy here, just busy working and playing with Fay, today was her 2nd birthday party, I'm getting pictures on my blog soon. Glad for the hello from you, and I need to get a lazer, it would sure get these lazy cats up!!!
You are so lucky. They do seem to be doing really well in a short period of time. That last photo of you and Pookie and Rosie is just fantastic!
Aawww...that is so sweet. Pookie is slowly accepting Rosie :)
That's great that they are starting to get along so well!

Thanks for the comment on my blog. The food was baltic herring. I love fish! It is the best food!!! No, I don't need tissues. I have licked the food away already.
Hallo Gattina,
