A FEW CAT RULES

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

It is impossible to make my bed in the morning ! As soon as I get out, the little group (except Kim the maverick) gets in and if I only try they look at me with reproachful eyes. So I have to wait until they finish their second morning siesta. I tell you I really am a poor victim. On the other hand it's practical too, I don't have to open my bed in the evening either.

These are a few cat rules, which they respect :

Whenever you miss the sandbox, cover it up.
Dragging a sock over it helps. (or underpants)

If you can't get your way, lay across the keyboard till you do.

When you are hungry, meow loudly so they feed you just to shut you up.

Always find a good patch of sun to nap in.

Nap often to keep you in shape

When in trouble, just purr and look cute.

How lucky you are. At least you have half of a bed to share. We have sleeping bags only. Don't want to think about what will happen to them if the litterbox does'nt shines and smells like roses.

=^.^=

After the morning staff meeting and feeding chores, I'm free to go about my day, of course if I go in a room and close the door, the entire group wants to come in and find out what I'm doing (another rule for your list). I can't understand why they all think when I open a can in the kitchen it must be cat food, they have never had can-opener cat food, only pop-top cans...still, of course everything in the world is about the cat.
They aren't allowed in the bedroom, and not on the bed at all, unless nobody notices them and reminds them they aren't allowed. I'm then reminded who really runs the house and makes the rules, with a twitch of the tail and a long stretch, on the bed, in the sunny spot.
