LAZY CHRISTMAS DECORATORS

For us it will already be the 2nd Advent and I should light the second candle on the wreath. But coming back from palm trees, beach and sunshine, I really found it hard to get into Christmas mood. Lucky are my Australian friends, they can barbecue at the beach on Christmas !

Rosie was watching what I all put on the floor

She checked a little, but didn't find anything interesting. Father Christmases, angels and other mouselike stuff didn't attract her at all (her green mousie being in the background)

She didn't loose hope to find a Christmas mouse maybe with a beard and a red hat, but no, there was strictly nothing.

Arthur, as usual half asleep, watched my efforts from the sofa, but he didn't move either ! I could shake little angels or snowmen, he just opened half an eye ! Just to do me a favour Rosie looked into the wreath, while Arthur had fallen into a deep sleep.

Rosie thought it would be time by now to do a little wash, the fact that she just used the place besides the crèche, didn't disturb her at all.

And I had thought that they would chase around angels and snowmen, father Christmas and balls but they behaved like angels themselves ! No excuse for me to buy new decorations !

Hmmm, so there's hope that my two won't wreck the Christmas tree, then. I'm putting off getting it up because I know they're not going to be able to resist all the lovely shiny dangling things.

Hmm, Rosie and Arthur are clearly saying that you must set up a cat Christmas display - wtih mousies dressed up in hats, and possibly the odd mole or bird in festive dress??? I'd love to hear you ask for that sort of stuff in a shop and explain why :-)

We've posted a video of Target the kitten taking a tablet on our cat blog today. Come visit?
