CATS ON TUESDAY
The whole day I was looking for Arthur in the house, basement and outside ! He were nowhere ! Mr. G. joined in and we both started a thorough investigation.and finally found him where we never had expected ! He was sleeping peacefully in Rosie's
cat tree where he never had put a paw and we have this thing since 4 years ! He was so lazy that he even didn't come out for food and ate hers which was just standing in front of his nose !
I noticed on Monday evening last week, that poor little Rosie walked on 3 paws. Next day I took her to the vet. She said that a claw was sore in her paw and gave her a shot. Then the big question was how to give her a pill for four days ! Rosie doesn't eat anything but her dry food and even the pill diluted with water and put in a syringe wouldn't work because she spits it out. So I asked the vet if I could give her the shots instead of coming back every day. Of course she said if you are not afraid of syringes and I am not.
For four days Mr. G. picked her up, and held her while I lifted the fur and shot ! She was a little surprised by this daily treatment and watched us with suspicious eyes when we approached, but otherwise it went smoothly and without problems.
Unfortunately now after 4 days she still walks on 3 paws, the leg is not swollen anymore and I can't see anything at her paw. She behaves like usual, eats and goes out but everything on 3 paws, so this evening I have to go back to the vet to see if there isn't something else.
Pookie is happy that Mr. G. has a cold and spends most of his time in his bed caughing and sneezing. Therefore she decided to take over the job of a nurse, calls herself "Nurse Pookie" and takes care of him.
Arthur having enough of being squeezed in the cat house decided to move also into the bed. Now they are three !

Oh poor Rosie, I hope she's ok, she was very good about you giving her those injections. And hope Mr G is recovering with the aid of the medics!
Arthur , Me too play hide and seek with my mom and dad :)
I hope that poor Rosie will be OK in her paw and that she won`t need any moore shots !!
Poor Rosie! We're purring her paw heals quickly. "Pookie is happy that Mr. G. has a cold" that really makes us laugh as Target is exactly the same. He adores fevers and chills. Unluckily for him we are very seldom ill.
I hope the vet is able to help with Rosie - we kitties do not like to complain and I can tell she is being stoic about it, but I am sure something about her paw is making her miserable. I am impressed, though, that you were able to give her shots! Not many humans are able to do that.
Poor Rosie, I hope she feels better soon and can walk on all her 4 paws again.
Arthur found out a great place for his naps!
Pookie and Arthur make good nurses, just like me and Jet, we look after our mama and papa when they are not feeling well, we cuddle up to them and keep them warm.
Poor Rosie, tell her we know how she feels, we've had poorly paws too and we hope she is all better soon.
Sweet cuddles with kitties~
Poor Rosie...we hope the second vet visit will make her little paw feel better. We hope she doesn't make the vet give her shots through the carrier like Arthur does?
We hope Mr G feels better soon too with his private nurses. ;)
We hope the vet finds something to help Rosie's ouchie paw.
Luv Hannah and Lucy xx xx
That's funny how Arthur decided to check out Rosie's cat tree after so many years. I hope the vet is able to figure out what's going on with Rosie's paw. It would be nice if Rosie would be able to tell you! What a nice nurse Pookie makes. :)
Hope Rosie gets better. That sounds like a painful ordeal.
it seems like Arthur is just being himself by confounding you with a new hiding place :)
OMC! Poor Rosie ~ we can't believe she have to get shots with needle! We hope her poor little paw feels better soon. Very funny about Arthur! Rudy found good place to hide, too, and we're posting about it now. Good for Pookie, being a nurse and keeping Mr. company. We hope he feel better soon too!

Hello,
I think Rosie needs some more days and I hope it will not last long until she recovers fully. You have a real hospital at home now. What a luck, there are nurse cats also.
Best greetings, Johanna
Sending my best vibrations to Rosie.

I hope you can walk 4 paws so soon

That is funny that Arthur was sleeping in Rosie's house. Maybe he needed a change of scenery!
Poor Rosie. We purr and pray that her paw feels better (and that the vet can figure out why it is still bothering her).
Mr. G will be better in no time with Nurse Pookie and Arthur tending to him. :)
Cat's are so funny...they are always looking for someplace different to sleep :) Yours are so cute....I hope Rosie gets better with her paw.
Thanks for hosting...I am happy to join in this week :)
big hugs,
Queenie
