CATS ON TUESDAY
As I only came back from Egypt on Thursday night and had to prepare the next day our trip to Amsterdam for the weekend to celebrate the first birthday of our grandson Toby, I don't have a lot to tell about my little darlings except to show you how I have to change the bedsheets with a not moving Arthur ! That's a story in itself !
Arthur sleeps peacefully on Mr. G's bed
to take the cover off the quilt, I lifted him up and put him on the bedsheet. He only moves a little. But then he really woke up, jumped onto the window sill
and looked from outside what I am going to do wondering probably why I had put the whole bed equipment on the sill.
Stubborn, he decided to jump back on the bed
and sat on the old sheet,
decided not to move and started a new nap
Again I had to lift him up, took the sheets away and put him back on the matress where he decided to continue to sleep.
I prepared a new bought sheet, took it out of the package and tried to spread it over the matress
He slept.
I started to pull over the new sheet. Arthur didn't move
I pulled further, Arthur slept.
Finally I lifted him up and put him down, while I tried to pull the red sheet over the matress.
Arthur behaved like a potatoe bag. I had to lift him up again, put him at the end of the bed and finally managed to get the red sheet in place. Arthur, pretending to wake up, immediately moved on the fresh sheet.
Finally moving him from left to right and up and down, the bed was finally made
Now he was thinking if he should sleep on the bed quilt or on the cover
He decided for the quilt and the cover remained untouched.
Result, Arthur was happy again, continued his favorite occupation and I was exhausted from lifting him up and down and moving him around.
Now I am ready to go on Holidays again !

don't you agree, that cats love fresh bedclothes. And mine had special prefrences for some sheet colors. Arthur has so much confidence you wouldn't do anything wrong with him.

Oh Arthur! You really gave your Mom a good workout! He obviously wasn't bothered by your moving him around. LOL!

This past year, my human has been recovering from a shoulder problem and under doctor's orders has had to have her cleaning service change the bedsheets for her. Frankly, this has ruined the whole excitement of bedsheet changing day for us - it is no fun when a stranger does it! (For some curious reason, my human DOES consider it fun!)
That is one determined cat napper.
Arthur is a cool cat, not easy to disturb at daytime. How is he night-wise? He must have accumulated lots and lots of energy by sleeping so deeply all day.

Traveling is fun, and up and down is OK, but not when I like to sleep...
Glad Arthur felt easily to sleep again!

MOL, that's just what Scoop used to do! These days we have Target who wants to play Bite And Hide when we change the bed sheets.
It's nice to see that Arthur "helps" you make the bed, Gattina. Moosey and Sammy are the same way. :)
