CATS ON TUESDAY

CATS ON TUESDAY

Maybe you have seen on TV that together with France, Germany and the UK we are sitting in deep snow and therefore also in a mess.

The only cat I managed to see in the snow was Pookie, which is rather strange, because when the weather is nice she always stays inside. Try to understand a cat.

Mr. G. had to shrink to make space for Pookie and Arthur who keep him company while he is doing such important things like playing cards on his computer ! He has an excuse, he is retired. Our cats apparently too.

Rosie, the still active cat, wasn't pleased at all, that Arthur suddenly discovered her (personal) cat tree and by no means didn't want to leave his place. After a few trials she finally gave up and they were sitting both on the tree, watching me I suppose, not sitting on another tree but on my chair.

Here she tries to seduce us, (always during a movie) and rolls happily around in the armchair. I don't know if it is due to the snowy weather that she tidies up her mousies, because now every morning I find up to four mousies in the water bowl, the work she had done over night ! But this is not enough, as soon as I have put them on the radiator and they are dry, she carries them back and drops them in the water again ! I am a very busy woman to take out mousies the whole day, and change the water !

Rosie and Pookie found a nice place to sit and sleep in the nativity scene. They look as if they watch over the holy family plus the angels, but they never would sit in there together !! They are ennemies for ever !

Here it is the same, a lot of snow and very very cold -13°C.
The kids have free of school today again and tomorrow the christmas holidays starts in lower saxony.

Cute to see that Arthur joined the other kitties in your house. Pookie on the desk and Rosie on the cat tree.
Unfortunately, Luna and Luzie are enemies too, like Rosie and Pookie. I hate it if they hiss to each other so much.....

Ich wünsche euch schöne Weihnachten !!!

I am also surprised that Pookie went out in the snow. Every cat I ever had hated snow. I am glad that Rosie decided to share her cat tree with Arthur. The cats do look very cute with the Nativity scene.

Bonjour dear Gattina,
I can't believe Pookie likes winter! It's so cold for me!
We saw the news about the snow there, here today we don't have snow (for now) and my sis have classes. She is doing tests. She was so anxious early morning thinking of how to go to school.Fortunately there were many buses today to go to school.
I'm so happy to see Rosie and Arthur playing together in the cat tree, it's funny!
And that chair looks a cozy place for a nap!
Stay warm dear friends,
love
Luna

I have thought of your babies during the big European freeze I've seen on the news. I'm glad most have found warm spots inside....love that they help Mr. G to play cards. My Snowflake has taken to being on the keyboard rather than the printer lately.

We're glad you all are cozy warm inside, except for silly Pookie! We would NEVER get our paws cold and wet.

Also, we Cats are born retired! Life is Good.

Woof Gattina!
We don't have winter so I faked it. Sorta. ;-) If ever we have snow I will probably hibernate tucked between the armpits of Lui!

Hi Gattina! Stopping by to wish you a very Merry Christmas and much health and happiness for the New Year. I have so enjoyed your blog this year, not only the adventures of all your cute kitties, but your witty observations and travel posts as well. Thanks for hosting the COT and I look forward to all the fun "next year." Julie @ Fun In The Sun

I'm glad to hear the cats are amusing themselves (and you!) during all of the bad weather, Gattina. Stay warm and dry, and Merry Christmas to you!

They always have the best spots, those clever cats.

We had a freezing cold night here of about 20C and Target and I were huddled under a blanket - we can't imagine how cold you must be.

Keep warm and Merry Christmas to all of you!

Trixie likes to out in the snow too! I thought she was the only one, but I see Pookie likes it too. Everyone else looks so comfy and cozy inside!
