CATS ON TUESDAY
I want to thank all of you who send me such kind words when Lisa went to the rainbow bridge.
She needed at lot of attention in the last months and I am sure that she is far better where she is now. She was 18 years and 5 months with us.
It's sad to say, but the others didn't even notice that she is not there anymore, they continue their usual little way of life.
Pookie is very happy to have inherited Lisa's basket and moves in there when Mr. G sleeps like a windmill.
Rosie only drinks from this little bowl, I don't know why because there is a big bowl on the floor. Here she is interrupted by some birdies !
Although it's still very cold, Arthur found that he should sit in the middle of the street to sleep and look around. Fortunately there are no cars during the day !
Of course when I wanted to film him he stopped rolling around, listened to the birds and then went working under my neighbour's car. Instead of having a white cat I had a black one after that.

Oh dear, My heart goes out to you,I am so sorry for your loss Gattina. 18+ years is such a long time to have such a wonderful furry friend and companion like Lisa! ♥
(((HUGS))) to you and your family.

Love the print that looks like a paiting you made for Lisa.
From a white Arthur to a black! OMG! I would restore the colour by giving a bath!
Pookie looks so smug; at least cats are practical about using things. I'd like to see Arthur all black. Will you bathe him?
I am so sorry about Lisa. She did live a nice long life though. I know you will miss her a great deal. It is hard to let them go when we have had them and loved them for so long.
Arthur get out of the street, you naughty boy.
It is cute to see Rosie drinking out of that tiny little bowl.

Oh I´m so sorry to read about poor old Lisa.
Dear Gattina,I was too busy to visit blogs the last days and missed your post.
Lisa had a long and wonderful live with you! It was surely a hard decision but it was the best for Lisa.
I think you´ll miss her very much *hugs*after such a long time together.
I´m sure the other cats noticed that Lisa is not there but they don´t show it.
Arthur please be careful on the street!
Rest in Peace, Lisa~
I know she is going to another great space like your house, Gattina~
I think your home is wonderful, I am sure the other side of rainbow bridge won't be very much different~! Because your home is cat heaven~
And I am also glad to know everyday is still normal :)
Big Big hugs to you!
Dear Gattina and sweet catfriends,
So sorry for this sad news, please forgive us for these late words, we really didn't know about it.Somehow mommy and I didn't see the previous post about the lovely Lisa.
All our prayers and purrs for Lisa and you all.
God bless you
mommy Léia and little Luna
I'm sorry about Lisa. I just started reading posts today and saw. Poor little girl. I wouldn't like Arthur lying in the road like that, I'd be afraid of the stray car. I am surprised no other kitty noticed lisa was gone.
More purrs and (((((hugs))))) from us re Lisa. We understand how sad yoo must feel. When Mom's cat Henry died in 2004 she had lived wiv him for almost 20 years ~ she still mises him even now.
Pierro was also completely unaware of Princess when she died here at home.
In the morning I brought Princess's body to the kitchen here and put her on clean towels and gave her a "bath" with nice gentle soap and cleaned her fur and her face. I even bow dried her curls on her legs and tummy. She looks stunning, so white and pretty.
Pierro did not even come up to see.
I had to make Princess look beautiful for Lizzie. She was coming home from college that day. I did not want her to see Princess looking shabby or dirty. I wanted her to see her beautiful and smelling nice.
I know Princess what quite aware when her brother died. She was with him.
Now begins a whole new life. Lisa is watching over all of you and she is indeed thankful for the time she has with all of you, and the special care you gave her in her last month, days, hours.
Those times stand out now for you, they still do for me.
But later, you will remember the good days.
Perhaps Arthur, Pookie and Rosie knew Lisa was going to leave. They gave you that time.
purrrs and bonks

Silly beautiful babies:)
I don't know why, but it's always the white kitties that love to play under the cars lol. My Winnie gets so yucky sometimes when he plays "mechanic". Lovely pic of Lisa. :)

Oh I am so sorry for the loss of Lisa! (((hugs))) I'm sorry I missed your original post. :( Lisa lived a fine long life and although this is so hard for you (18 years is a long time for a kitty!) you made the right decision to help her to the bridge so she wouldn't suffer. When Sox went to the bridge, the only one of the gang who grieved was Cubby.
Aw, We're so sorry to hear of your loss; It about breaks your heart, doesn't it, to lose one of our furry faces...I certainly sympathize. ((hugs)) to you, my friend.
We continue to purr for your hart to heal.
Thanks fur letting us know how you are doing.

Let us say again how sorry we are to hear about Lisa. Sending our thoughts.
In a way, I suppose it's good for the other cats that they are able to adjust quickly and continue with their lives.
Lisa had a good life and you have lots of memories.. It always amazes me how animals move on without looking back. Arthur is now all black, I can just imagine what he looks like but knowing Arthur he will be wash wash wash. HUgs GJ xx
Hi Gattina. I have thought of you every day since I heard of Lisa last week. It always disturbs me how cats handle the loss of another. I shouldn't criticize them; they only do what they know. But it is disquieting. I am sure that they knew before you did and that is why. You take care, Gattina. You are still in my prayers.
We are so sad that Lisa had to go, and though it may not seem like it we bet they do notice the change. They may not show it, but we think they must sense the difference.
I guess it is good that the others don't grieve as we do, but just go on with their lives. I'm sending you a hug and a prayer with this message. The video of Arthur was very nice and love the one watching the birds :-)
Thanks again for loving Lisa so well, and for so long. What a wonderful life she had with all of you. Purrs and prayers.
We all know cats are a bit (a bit?) selfish and so not aware of Lisa' passing, but she will never be forgotten by you.
Love the look on Rosie's face at her special water bowl.
Watch out for traffic Arthur!
I will bet that the other cats do notice that Lisa is gone, but she kept apart from them for so long that they don't grieve as much as you do. Poor Arthur is due for a bath and I bet he won't like it much. On your comment on Herman, that he still has a good appetite is very good, but he has feline leukemia virus and his diarrhea is a very bad sign. Still I have high hopes that his new medicine will help him have a fairly long life.
It's so sad that Lisa went to the rainbow bridge. You must miss her a lot.
Good to see that you are all doing well - and Arthur even went on an adventure.
It is so hard to say good-bye to our little ones. But I like to think of Rainbow Bridge being a place of wonder. Our cats and dogs are restored to their youthful health. I plan to go there myself when I die.
so sorry, Gattina, for your loss of Lisa. My heart goes out to you. yay for the rainbow bridge.
