CATS ON TUESDAY
Now I am really sure that Pookie had been an actress in her former life ! She, who slept 24 h a day only interrupted by calls of nature, suddenly starts to play as if she was a kitten again ! I am sure in her jalousy about Rosie, she wants to show me that she too is able to play and make me laugh ! And she is right, I find that so funny and amazing that she just behaves like a child who suddenly has a new baby in the house !
Arthur now sees in Rosie a welcome toy. Usually he lays down, a fat white snowball and little Rosie jumps with all four paws in the air and danses around him like mad. He just watches and from time to time when she puts her paws around his neck he would give her a little friendly slap with his paw. But his body doesn't move an inch. (He could loose weight !)
When he is in playing mood then they play together. Here they are running around and playing with a little fur mouse.
On my birthday, Rosie was busy the whole day with my son. He played the whole afternoon with her and even managed that Pookie who recognizes him as her former human didn't say anything when he put Rosie too on his knees.
Rosie likes her new climbing tree (his legs)and here she sits for a little rest on his shoes. The shoes being bigger than Rosie, it was quite comfortable.
After playing so much Rosie finally was exhausted and retired in a small box in which a gift was wrapped and I had left there.
and then she fell asleep together with the others of course.

Rosie is so cute! I love the pictures of her in the box... and a happy belated birthday!
I haven't been able to visit everyone as much as I want to... with a bit of computer trouble and moving stuff out of storage into my brother's new house... it has been a time of long hot days and short computer minutes. Hope to be a little better soon.
I love how a new kitten brings out the playful side of older cats in the household. It sounds like yours are all getting along well now, and Miss Rosie has brought a lot of fun with her. That's what Socks has done for me and Silver, although Stevie still hisses at her. (Of course, I mean now that Socks has grown up and become less destructive, as I talk about in my entry this week.)
Not a problem about your not doing the meme -- I understand your reasons for not doing it, although I would have liked to hear about your favorite songs (I think that would have been interesting).
My two older cats never played much at all until Wikipedia and even when Zander came along as kittens.
After the months of being anti social to the new additions they finally warmed up and started to play and run through the house and became very sociable cats.
Even now they still will have their play time in the early mornings with Wikipedia and Zander, then they all curl up for a loooong nap.
I am glad your cats are starting to like little Rosie.
She is very sweet!
What a sweet little Rosie! there isn't a boring moment when she is awake!
Rosie is SO CUTE! I am jealous, I love kittens. But six cats are enough for me.
Those photos of Rosie's little eyes staring at Arthur from behind the table are so sweet! It looks like she is wearing a little bandit's mask. She and Pookie seem to be doing very well.
I enjoyed your update. Happy Tuesday!
Rosie, you look so cute sitting inside that box! :) Pookie and Arthur, I am glad you are becoming used to having Rosie around, and starting to play with her! Playing is so much fun. :)
Isn't it nice to know that even when you sit down and do nothing, you are still useful as cat furniture?
Don't kittens love climbing anything...even human legs. So, they have all settled down together, that must be a relief for you.
Rosie is a playful one! I love the box picture. I have so many pics of Lulu like that. She loves boxes!
Happy belated birthday!
Rosie is adapting so well in her new home. And can see that she is also growing! She'll be as big as Arthur soon!
I totally totally love those photographs. Rosie under the desk, Rosie under the rug. They are so funny! She is so tiny. (Have I told you how handsome your son is?)
Hello Gattina!
Hope my name will appear in the cats on tuesday's side bar!
looks like fun with your new baby!
didn't see my link on the blogroll, not sure what the situation is with that. I've been a bit distracted with Samantha's cancer.
cats are truly amazing creatures aren't they, you can spend hundreds of dollars on toys and cat furniture and they would have just as much fun with paper bags, boxes and just anything that they can find laying around the house.
At my house I don't dare though out a cardboard box because Snowball just loves them and she will protest quite a bit as well, she loves to hide in them and attack the dog Bear as he walks by, and then the chase begins...lol
We are all just in love with that cute little Rosie!
Adorable photos, especially the one in the box.
Rosie looks so cute in the box. I'm glad that Pookie has livened up now that Rosie is in the house and that Arthur has decided to play with her.
Rosie is such a doll. They always want to fit themselves in boxes...especially boxes that are too small for them!
Your little bundle of joy is so charming. I just love her expressions with those eyes. She looks so small next to Arthur.
Rosie is truly cute, so is other 2 cats.
Happy Birthday to you.
May you have healthy happy this new year~! with the cutest cats.
Oh happy very belated birthday Gattina!
Rosie is just so cute in that box!
