CATS ON TUESDAY
For the moment we really have a wonderful spring weather and we even could sit outside. Arthur who always loves company especially outside, walked around and sniffed a little everywhere. The grass has such interesting different scents ! All neighbour cats who walked through his domain, the mice and moles (I hope not) It's so good !
And suddenly he found a spot where it smelled extremely good !
He had to put his nose closer and closer and ....
He felt in love with this odor ! I don't know what it was and I didn't want to kneel down and put my nose on the spot too (Arthur probably would have hissed at me) but he put his neck on the spot.
and rolled around in it
and again and again
until finally he had drugged himself enough and returned to the terrace where he settled down for a well earned nap.

Oh, Arthur, you make your life so fun! Maybe there was a bit of catnip growing in that spot? Catnip always makes my kitties high. ;-) Excellent action shots of a kitty obviously transported into a different realm of being!

It's a great time for the cats. To discover the nature as they love it. And Arthur he knows how to show his joy. Great.

What fun cats are! Rolling around outside, something Miss Lulu won't be able to do, I am afraid she will run off. We are still waiting for the nice spring weather! We are hit again with snow! Yuck!

What was it Arthur? Catnip? Nermal loves his catnip too and rubs his face and neck in it... although Nermal does the same thing with my socks! So I'm glad you didn't put your nose to check what it was Gattina :) Good job with the napping Arthur! Happy Tuesday!

Now, if Arthur was a dog, we know he would be rolling in something foul smelling. But as a dignified kitty, it must have been something very lovely and nice indeed. A nap well earned!

It looks like you were having lots of fun Arthur! :) Grass has very interesting smells! Yesterday it was nice and warm here, so I was able to go outside on my harness and in my stroller. You are very brave to venture outside alone!

If Arthur were in our garden, he would take the lilac bush at the pond. There the cats always stand and sniff the smell other cats leave there.

I love the white cat on the green grass so much. One of my cats loves to eat grass (we grow it for her because in Florida, you can't let cats run around outdoors). Arthur is such a beautiful kitty.

We have this in our grass too, it's a moss that grows under the grass and has a similar effect to catnap. When I bury my nose in it it makes me go all wild eyed and run around and around the garden like a mad thing. I love it. FAZ

My Cats on Tuesday is up, rather late I know!
I'm hoping that Faz is right and it's a moss that smells good to cats, rather than something stinky to humans. I guess you'll find out when he comes in for the night.
