Yesterday afternoon we missed Arthur.

Again I thought ! It was 7 pm and no Arthur in view. Last time we had seen him was in the morning and there he slept in front of my bed. The weather outside was terrible, it rained cats and dogs (maybe Arthur wanted to join them) and a strong wind blow. Mr. Gattino went on the terrace and shouted in his opera voice "Arthuuuuur" but nothing. I looked in all rooms and in the basement, no Arthur. After his last adventure he didn't go out anymore or just for 10 min and now that ! Mr. Gattino put his shoes on and disappeared on the street. As I couldn't do anything but waiting I sat down and read some posts.

Suddenly I heard a strange noise, I listened, no noise. I continued to read, again this noise. It seemed to me it came from behind me. I turned my head but there is only my wardrobe and the door was closed.

Intrigued I opened the door and what did I see ? This here :

Mr. Arthur in all his beauty sitting in my wardrobe and washing ! Relieved I took this picture ! Apparently he had slept there the whole afternoon. He had opened the door slipped inside and the door had closed for itself.

Mr. Gattino fears now for his life with all these excitements !

Arthur couldn't understand our behaviour. He made his big eyes and collapsed to another deep nap.

Arthur, you look quite comfortable in the wardrobe. I don't blame you for choosing to hang out there.

Hello and thanks for visitng our blog today!

I'm glad you found Arthur. Isn't it awful when you can't find your kitty?

Once Pumpy got outside and those two couldn't find him and they were SOOOO upset. But soon Pumpy appeared at the door and they grabbed him and hugged him and kissed him on his kittty face. (Pumpy and I don't go outside as a rule...)

I hope Arthur rests peacefully.

Oh Arthur, one of these days you'll get yourself into real trouble. But it is to find a dark hidey hole and snooze the day away. I like the wardrobe, too; another good place is the top shelf in the pantry behind all the containers and boxes up there.

Glad you're okay and not lost though, Arthur

Have you thought about putting a bell on his collar? Or maybe a homing device? Whenever Ben disappears I worry and call and look for him. He always shows up later looking at me like what's all the hollering about??!! Silly cats. He's finally feeling good again, over whatever had him down and pukey. He's talking and tripping me and back to normal again.

that does look like a great place to curl up for a nap, though if the door were closed we'd scratch on it a lot. we don't like closed doors.
