Sorry I have a dirty nose



My face looks so skinny, but I haven't lost weight

Each morning when I wake up I have this view !






I can't tell any funny story for the moment, as Rosie has fallen into a temporary (I hope so) winter sleep and only gets up for eating and her business !



Arthur is declining each day a bit more. He still manages to jump on the sofa and a bed, but not on the table anymore.

One eye has gotten worse and instead of only watering there is probably an infection. I have to go to the vet. His appetite is still very good he eats quite a lot, but becomes more and more bony and now he is also completely deaf.

What is very annoying is that he doesn't use his litter box anymore maybe because it is in the basement and he has to go down steps. I will put him one in the kitchen and see.



And here is how they spend the whole day !

On Easter saturday we had wonderful weather and I thought it is about time to clean the garden furniture.

Arthur loved the cover which I had removed from the table



He found a little hole


to get in



and settled down to observe safely under cover what I was doing !



Once the chairs were clean, Rosie had to check on which one she wanted to sit and supervise my work



maybe on two chairs ?



no, that wasn't comfortable. Maybe this one ? she turned around 3 times before finally she choose



this one.

CATS ON TUESDAY - Rosie's Cocktail

CATS ON TUESDAY

All my cats, except Kim drink water from this little bowl, although there are two big once on the kitchen floor. Try to understand cats ! So it was not a surprise to see Rosie drinking besides the sink. But at a closer look I saw that she had prepared herself a cocktail not with an olive, but with a nice yellow mouse !

I found this very funny but took the mouse out because I thought she would have more space to drink ! Rosie was very upset about it, apparently the water without mouse didn't have the same taste, she dropped it in again !






That was good !

When she had enough, she pulled the mouse out



and carried it into the living room, where she dropped it on the carpet.





I thought I wouldn't need a TV for my amusement, Rosie and Arthur take care of that !

PHOTO SHOOTING SESSION N° 2

It's always the same. If you want to make nice pictures you can be sure that it won't work. Here is the second photo session I tried for Christmas Greeting cards !

I tried to wake up Sir Arthur, but he was very busy with his afternoon nap and he

and continued to sleep even when Santa fainted on him !



But then he was offended because of his disturbed afternoon nap and to comfort himself he sniffed in my slippers and fainted too !

I looked for other victims. Kim and Pookie were outside. Lisa had her nose in the radiator and was out of use. But there was still Rosie left !



I put an angel between her paws, telling me two angels would be a nice subject



but Rosie didn't seem very interested in this strange thing



it didn't even smell like catnip !





But she didn't protest and looked everywhere except into the camera. I gave up ! Hopefully I will make it until Christmas !

CLEANING DAY

Rosie found a pigeon feather in the garden and brought it home while cleaning was in process !




she played and played and chewed on the thing



Arthur wasn't interested at all. He wanted to help ! The vacuum cleaner doesn't bother him and he loves to be in peoples way.

But after a while, he thought he had helped enough and retired to his favourite place,



my bed. Where he started his daily hard work. He fell asleep.



Deep asleep ! but not deep enough to still work ....




Look ! he has moved an ear !!

And as always when Arthur is asleep I use him as my model to make funny pictures.
