I think my cats are slowly coming out of their winter lethargy !
Pookie started to play with a new little mouse I had bought and always meows for tap water. Since my invention with a cup and a glass I save water and she drinks out of the glass. The only trouble is that we always have to lift her up !
I have decided to go regularly all 3 months to the groomer with Kim. It's always hard work to get her in the carrier, but once she sits in the car she is quiet, I think she knows by now where we are going. As usual she purred and was delighted, this time she had no knots but a lot of hairs ! I have already an appointment for June.
Rosie is very playful for the moment and here she plays with me and a pencil !
Arthur lately became a very naughty boy ! He had started to pee on the doormat at the kitchen door. So I took the doormat away. But yesterday he peed against the doll who stands there in a corner, I had to wash it and now it's drying against the radiator. It's not a little wee wee, but a real flooding ! Does anybody know what I should do, that he stops ? It happens only there. Otherwise he is using the litterbox or goes outside. There are no new cats around and no other animals either.
Although I had been very angry with him, he just played the innocent boy and washed himself from top to bottom. He also wanted to groom Rosie's tail, but she didn't agree and got upset !
And when the day is over and I am reading in my bed I have this peaceful view !

Does Arthur see another cat or animal through the door that angers him? It sounds like marking behavior.
I was going to say the same thing as Katnip Lounge. It sounds like there is some critter hanging out near the kitchen that Arthur does not like.
Is there a new cat in your area who is trying to make friends with Arthur?

Kim may not like going to the groomer, but she'll be so thankful after loosing a lot of that fur.
We bet beautiful Kim feels much better after her grooming session.
Rosie -- we like to play with pencils here, too!
Pookie -- Moosey and Zoey both like to drink from a cup in the sink, too. We put a small scratching post next to the sink, so that they can use it to jump up on their own.
Hmm, we also wonder if some other cat or animal was outside near that door, and Arthur is not happy about it. Do you have a black light? If so, maybe you can go out there at night to see if another animal has perhaps peed on or near that door?
Hugs!
Dat's a peaceful view alwight. As fur Arthur and hims peein', has hims been to da VET? He just might hav da beginnings of a urinary tract infection. We will purray fur him and all of ya'. As fur da spot him is usin', yous need to tweat it wiff Fizzion to take away da smell. good luck. Gweat fotos.

All your kitties are so pretty. I agree with Dezi that he should get checked for urinary infections, that us one of the main reasons for peeing outside the box.
A peaceful view when you are reading in bed? Then why is Rosie looking so very annoyed?
As for Arthur, that is a big problem but I have no advice to give other than a check up with the vet.
Google has pages of advice on this rather common problem. None of it very helpful.
I see that the Katnip Lounge already wrote what I was thinking about Arthur´s indoor peeing.
Looks like Kim is furry well behaved at the groomer.
I´m not sure I would be that :)
XOXO
Goodness, that's a big pile of fur that came out of Kim!
Assuming Arthur doesn't have any medical issues, I agree with the other comments that maybe Arthur is seeing an outdoor kitty and it's upsetting him. If that area has a window, maybe you can put something to block the view - either from the inside or the outside until you can figure out if another animal is coming by. Could you put a litter box in that area so Arthur has someplace appropriate to pee? It may not be ideal, but it would save on the cleaning.
That's a perfect nighttime view from your bed.
