My cats are happy that the year's end festivities finally came to an end !
We celebrated New Year at home together with friends, Rosie inspected the table when she still had room to sit on it and Pookie the bottles. After that they all disappeared into other rooms far away, as I had also dared to invite Charlie, a dog !!!! Although Charlie doesn't care about the cats, they preferred not to show up, except Arthur who had to say hello to everybody and even sniffed at Charlie, but found his smell so disgusting that he too went away, offended that he couldn't stay as he loves when we have guests.
This is the view I have when I switch on the light in the morning, Pookie sitting in her bed and squinting up to look at me. Please admire my flexibility to take this picture, even half of my leg is on it.
As it had snowed a bit, Rosie sidled herself along the hedge, to avoid the snow on her delicate paws before she disappeared in the bushes behind our little graveyard.
She also has returned to her job as a model, and posed for me for a photo starting with the letter "A" for apple. When the apple rolled away she had enough !
On Saturday I suddenly was fed up of all this Christmas decoration and with the help (?) of Arthur, who inspected everything for the last time, I put everything away for next year, while Arthur wanted to go out and take some fresh air.

I don't imagine the cats were sad to see the holidays come to an end!

We would have ran if there was a dog in our house too! Glad you had a nice holiday.
wow, what a flexible you are, Arthur!
Arthur is an excellent snoopervisor. Great photos.
You've had a busy week. I'm surprised your mom let you sit on the table with all those glasses.
Hello kitties. We missed you.
Emma and Buster
Arthur is so good-natured. We're pretty sure our cats wouldn't even SNIFF a dog if it came into our house. :) LOL!
Is that grass outside that door. Lucky you! All we have is the white stuff at the mo.
