CATS ON TUESDAY
I suppose that all our cat friends are happy that these festivities are over, especially New Year's Eve where the humans amuse themselves by making artificial thunderstorms with terrible lightenings and on top of that they find it funny !Arthur wasn't amused at all and at the first boom jumped in my wardrobe.
The next day he checked the weather in despair, it had snowed again. But at the same time he was so friendly to leave some hairs and paw prints on my freshly washed table cloth which I had put on the radiator to dry.
As the snow had melted a bit, he quickly run for a little business, but like a flash came back immediately.
to warm up his cold paws. Rosie prefers the litterbox in the garage.
She wasn't afraid of the fireworks outside, groomed and stretched and celebrated New Year with us.
Then she went to bed with two mousies, to drop them later in the water bowl.
Pookie too was horrified by this long lasting bad weather and
made her new year resolutions in the sink. She too wasn't afraid of the noise. Apparently it was a typical male syndrom.
When I had vaccuumed the living room the next day, she checked if everything was clean before she went to bed again. It's so nice to watch other people work !

Arthur felt the cold this time. LOL!
We think Pookie supervised your work making sure you did it properly!
Wow! You guys were so busy! And wasn't it too cold to sit in the sink? ;-)
Pookie was probably hoping for a warm bath. Arthur you are brave to put your little paws on the cold white ground. Rosie you look like you enjoyed staying up to greet the new year.
Rosie, I'm so sure you will drop the mousies in the water bowl again !..and...Na..Nah..Na...Nah, Arthur, you can't stop her : )
MOL..Pookie, Made resolution in the sink might go to the drain so quick : )
Poor old Arthur. Charlie and Posky didn't like the fireworks either, Mrs Pod is deaf so didn't care, and Pepper wasn't bothered. Seems like it's just males who are martyrs to their nerves then :O) Love the photos, the one of Pookie in the sink did made me laugh! Happy New Year to you and the cats, have a great 2011.
I'm glad that New Year's Eve did not put a crimp in most of the cats' activities. Well, except for Arthur, but I guess mancats are just that way.
Bonjour dear friends!
For me it was not fun because my beans were out during the New Year's Eve, but now I'm really happy because they came back and my big brother Gui also came from Brazil and he is really nice with me, playing a lot and even helping me to blog friends!
purrs and love
Luna
**** Your layout is cute! I loved it!
OMC I liked Pookie in the sink the BEST!! MOL!
Pookie is too cute in the sink. I've seen many cats with the sink facination, but never had any of my own who liked it. Now the bathtub is another story lol. Great pics as always. :)
Happy New Year Gattina and kitties!
We had to pile on Mommy during the fireworks! We have litter boxes indoors and on the catio outside, and we prefer the indoors one in the cold weather. We are a tiny bit spoiled.
Aha! So the firecrackers affect males because my two male dogs were scared stiff all month!
Sweepy and Sumo says Hi to the TuesdayCats team. And I say 'happy cleaning day, Gattina!'... You might not believe this but I have until February to display the Christmas decor. Tralalalala . . . .
Happy New Year!
Poor Arthur. Luna isn't fond of fireworks, either, so it's not necessarily a male thing. Though she has gotten used to them - we live not far from a baseball stadium where they frequently shoot fireworks in the summer.
Our kitties weren't fazed by the fireworks, old basset (who usually is) and young basset weren't either. But five year old basset? She was a nut case. Happy New Year to you and yours.
Usually it is Fritz who is upset. This year for some reason the dackels were upset.
Love your pictures!
Our cats are glad that new years eve is gone for the next 361 days.
We are finally back to normal too.
after all these holidays we think spring can come. Its too dark and too cold outside for humans and for the cats...
Arthur you are so brave to even go out in that snow and sorry you was scared. Loved seeing you all in pictures. Hugs GJ x
We used to have a cat who peed in the toilet; maybe you can have a little chat and move from sink to loo? Love Rosie's lazy attitude and Arthur's manly can-do outdoor ventures.
Oh, I agree! I was scared all month with my tail between my legs! How embarassing for a Superdog at that!
Arthur was right in hiding in the fur closet!
Well, we don't particularly care for loud noises, either, so we think Arthur had the right idea. :)
