POOR ARTHUR WAS SICK !

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

CATS ON TUESDAY

Arthur last week wasn't in a very good mood. He still housed in my wardrobe and only came out to visit his food bowl. He didn't play with Rosie and when I petted him on the back he hissed. Mr. Gattino then noticed that Arthur was always washing the end of his tail, so he took a closer look. Arthur's tail end had a big hairless spot ! Had this diabolic black cat bitten him again ?

We decided : Arthur had to go to the Vet ! And that is what we did. The vet checked him from top to bottom and Arthur didn't agree at all, he showed himself on a quite unusual side, he growled and hissed and struggled on the table. He even tried to bite the poor vet. The diagnosis was : Arthur had an ulcer ! That's why he was so aggressiv ! He got a shot and we went home.

The first thing he did, he moved out of the wardrobe and choose another napping place

He found a very nice one on Mr. Gattino's desk. First he hid there and we couldn't find him but then after a day or two he lay in all his length on the desk ! He was back to his old self. He started to play with Rosie again and didn't hiss when I touched his back. Poor Arthur must have had aches and now they were gone.

He moved again and now he shares Mr. Gattino's bed with Pookie.

And this morning when he went to the kitchen to satisfy his stomac, there was a visitor ! Arthur didn't move so it must have been a friend.

I had never seen this cat before, she wasn't shy at all and quite cute. I suppose she belongs to one of these new houses which had been built behind our garden.

Arthur's tail end is much better and starts to heal !

We are glad Arthur's tail is healing and that he is getting back to his old self! He's come out of hiding, playing with Rosie and eating! Good signs! ::Sam and Tigger waving paws to all the kitties:: Have a great Tuesday!

Hi again! I'm back! What sad pictures at the beginning of your story: I can see he was distresssed. And the way he hid when he did not feel well. That makes me so sad. But you can tell when he is feeling better: he is sleeping on his back again! Another new kitty visit! Your cats are wonderfully tolerant. When cats come out of the woods to visit here, the alarm goes out and they all rush out to the woods to keep the newcomer out of their territory!

My cats are so quiet (sleeping and getting fatter and fatter) all winter, that it is very difficult to figure out what to write for COT!!

I'm glad to hear that Arthur's tail is getting better - I don't blame him for getting angry at the vet - it's a scary thing! It looks like he is nice and comfy with his new snoozing places though. :)

Arthur is a doll! What a sweetie, poor thing...all he wanted was to find a comfy spot to nap! My cat bit the vet once! Hope his tail heals...and hope all your cats make friends with the new visitor!

Poor Arthur! That was rough week. You can understand him being a littly hissy with the vet. It's good to see him on the mend now - by the way, he's a very handsome kitty.

Cheers

Oh, poor Arthur!!! Glad to hear his tail is healing.
I love the wonderful cute pictures of Arthur. He is like Luzie .She shows us when she is sick in the same way like Arthur.
We had a guest cat too this morning.
Lustig, Gattina, dass sich bei Katzenfreunden immer noch fremde Katzen dazu gesellen.
Happy Tuesday!

Well, poor Arthur...I'm so glad he didn't stay sick long. Rosie must be happy about that, too.

I finally had the time to write another story. I've been missing my time creating these short stories on cats. Hopefull I'll be back in the loop before long.

I had a cat that got an ulcer in his side once. I thought some kind of worm had gotten into his skin...I hope Arthur feels much better soon.

It is always nice to get friendly neighbors and your new little friend seems to be just that.

Don't forget to send Rosie, Arthur or the others picture in for my cutest Valentine photo contest! I am taking entries until the 31st. My little nephews will pick their favorites.

Poor Arthur! No wonder he was grouchy. That sounds awful!

I am glad he's better now though. He must be feeling better if he is receiving visitors! LOL!
