CATS ON TUESDAY

CATS ON TUESDAY

Arthur is bored, during winter season he has no social life as people avoid to stay outside. So between napping and eating and playing with Rosie sometimes he has nothing to do and he gets fat !

For example he lays at the front door and thinks it over : "Should I go out or not. If I want to go out this door I have to meauw until somebody opens the door, no that is really too tiring !"

Then he sits for a while on the washing machine and observes the world around him and finally decides to try another door, this one is always open because it leads to the basement and there is the cat flap.

"Should I go or not ?"

Finally he decided that going down the steps is too tiring too.

and thinks and thinks it over again. But then suddenly he heard the noise of the window door and making a superhuman catly decision, he ran outside !

Finally somebody in the garden ! Now he had to see what Mr. Gattino was doing there. It had been very stormy and our wheeping willow had lost some branches.

after watching a while

he took the opportunity to do his business in the nature and not in the basement in the litterbox.

Of course this needed a clean up. A little washing session was necessary

before he collapsed on the table to join dreamland, exhausted from this effort ! I should ask our neigbors to go outside and dig in their gardens at least one hour per day to entertain Arthur !

Little Rosie doesn't have this problem. She probably hardly remembers what summer means because she was a little kitten at that time.

Now she leads her little happy cat life playing whole day and

gathering her mice around the food bowls during night

She loves to play with my slipper

and falls asleep on it.

I also have very bad news. Our dear member Caesar died on Jan 20, leaving his little Princess alone. As you can imagine it must be a terrible loss for his family. Please visit them it may give some comfort.

I visited their site yesterday to express my sadness.

Arthur is so much like my bad boys: getting fatter every day, sleeping unbelievable amounts of time. We toss them into the garage now and then to cool off the occasional fights, but they won't leave the garage anymore.

For their sake, I hope spring comes on time!

Arthur sounded just like my Jonathan, meowing at 7am without fail daily just to wake me up to jump onto my bed and watch the whole world pass by through my windows. He sounded cute initially but now I'm not getting enough of sleep. Haha.

Well, he has grown up to be fat too. I wanted him to be fatter but not as fat he is now :P

Anyway, I was saddened by Caesar's death. We do missed a beautiful cat in the blogosphere.

I have the same problem in the winter! The humans are just not as much in the garden as I would like them to be - and no lizards either!!!
We miss Caesar and our hearts are with his family!

My goodness Rosie is growing up.
She is such a beautiful cat as is Arthur!
He is such a funny cat in his winter boredum.
Our Zander cat is like him in he wanders throughout the house looking for something to do and getting fatter as he eats to much in winter.
The rest of the cats just curl up in warm places and sleep.

Sad to hear about ceasar, I will visit there today and send prayers.

Arthur is like Frieda. She only went out if it is absolute "urgent". Sometimes I open the door, she went a second out and come back.

We all are sad about Caesar and visited them yesterday.

Arthur, we never go outside, but we stay slim and fit by playing lots indoors! So we think you need to play more with Rosie, so that you don't put on too much weight. Being too heavy is unhealthy, you know.

We are very sad that Caesar has gone to the Bridge. :( We posted a tribute to him yesterday. He was a wonderful friend and we miss him already.

He is so gorgeous. Tell Arthur I know just how he feels, the weather here in England has trapped us all indoors far too much and we all have cabin fever!

I would like to join the Cats on Tuesday blogroll if that's OK? Thanks.

Arthur would not like going nout in the snow and wind we have here right now! Poor Arthur would be more bored here and might have to take up chasing my cats!

Rosie is a sweetie! Does she have crazy hour at times where she just zooms around?

(Sorry to hear about Caesar)

(I couldn't get to this site so just did the link thing now...I'll change the link at my blog to this cat blog! So confusing when you have more than 1 blog! How do you kep them all straight? LOL!)

Poor Caesar. I am sure his family is very sad right now.

First let me say that I love the white and red you've done in your home. Those colors contrasting looks very pretty. Very nice.
Darius is like Arthur. It is so cold he doesn't enjoy his little hunts so he goes in and out, in and out, and he has to try to find new things. He follows Martin to the pond then has to come right back in because it is too cold and he is uncomfortable. Calista on the other hand, like Rosie, has made her life about the indoors. She could care less about going out.
Wonderful pictures as usual, I especially love Arthur wiped out on the table.

I come back and it is 23:13 now. Your are my last post and after I go to sleep because tomorrow I wake up at 6.

Arthur is a nice supercat. He makes good decisions... going outside and of course doing some cleaning and napping on the eating table. Caesar used to do that every day.

thank you for sharing our sad news. It is comforting to have friends now especially

Oh poor Arthur, of course, people should rush outside just to entertain him. It doesn't matter how cold it it, just that Arthur doesn't get bored! Rosie looks great - maybe she needs to round up Arthur sometimes as well as her mousies,
