CATS ON TUESDAY

CATS ON TUESDAY

When people have nothing to say they talk about weather.

It's cold and grey outside so Arthur prefers to keep me company and does his 24 sleeping marathon besides my bed.

only interrupted when it's itching behind his ear

or when he has to entertain his white fur in the bath tube.

Pookie too prefers to stay inside and watch birdies out of the window. Only Kim is as usual outside no matter how the weather is.

Rosie had an agitated week ! I kept again the two birds of my friend (and neighbor) and each day I allowed Rosie to watch them a little bit. Of course I stayed with her. But she was quiet good, she never tried to attack the cage and the birds were singing and were not afraid at all. They had never seen a cat either.

When I created the video (which you can see in the post below) and I watched it on my computer screen, Rosie was so interested and was looking everywhere in the room to find the birds !

Now the birds are gone but Rosie still wants to go everyday in our guest room and then she is so disappointed when she realizes that the birds are not there anymore.

When my friend carried the cage away and Arthur saw the birds he got crazy he jumped on the cage and tried to open the door, I just could pick him up and put him in the garage ! It really was crazy. My poor friend was so afraid for her birds ! (and I too)

Hi Gattina! The weather is a good
subject ha ha! We had some warm weather in April here but now we have rain and cool temperatures like
March weather. Mother nature is very
confused this year! :) I see your
kitties like the sunshine too! The
Arthur in the bathtub pics are funny!
I hope the cats are not smart enough to open that birdcage door......???

Hello dear Gattina and sweet friends!
Oh gosh I need to confess that I was afraid of those birds there with catfriends around, as well! What an adventure for them!
That picture with Rosie and your notebook is amazing, she looks so curious!
Pookie and Kim are smart to be inside and enjoy the view outside by the window.
The weather here is awful, and cold...What is happening???Oh gosh, maybe in Brazil the weather is crazy too!I don't know...
Better to take a nap as ARthur is doing there, he is soooo adorable!
purrs and love
Happy Tuesday!!!

Arthur does enjoy his naps :)
It must be great for Pookie to have such "in home entertainment."

I wish that I could get even half as comfortable as Arthur looks in that first shot! We've certainly had some good weather for sleeping and not going out lately. Loved the bird post, too.

Hi, I wasn't able to leave a link for some reason but here it is! As you can tell, we had nothing useful to say either--same kind of weather! :P

I'm glad all is well with the birds! I remember when I was very young and my cat ate my big sister's bird. She is STILL mad!! Arthur is such a character.

Glad that the birds were safe!! It's funny that the birds had never seen a cat so they were completely unaware to the potential danger... until they saw Arthur I guess! Arthur is so cute in the bathtub! He reminds me very much of Kenji!

Moggie is a real cat, the kids do feed him despite being told not to.

I can't remember if I told you this real story in Singapore. I live in a cul de sac, and the houses were sort of semi detached, terrace houses. Some occupy the bottom 2 floors, I occupy the top 2 floors.

Any way, my friend Diane had just fried a whole fish and left it on the bench and went into the lounge. Within a short time, she went back, and the fish was gone. She went outside, a neighbour's cat had stolen her fish and had almost finished it all.

In the other case where I was feeding the two abandon cats, the co-ordinator decided we stop feeding them to entice them to go to the Cat Cafe. But they won't go. They became quite feral. They started going into people's apartments and stealing food. It caused a lot of unpleasantness. They complained to me because I once fed them. I don't know what happened to them when I left Singapore for New Zealand.

LOL, I suspect your neighbours have been feeding your cat.

Wow what a story about the birds - it is so good that Rosie enjoyed them and was nice to them - but too bad that she misses them! And we all think that staying in where it is nice and comfy is better then going out - we think Arthur has it right for sure!

Aw, it sounds like Rosie really misses the birds!

Great and fun pictures, as always. I especially love the pictures of Arthur in the bathtub! :)
