BAD MODELS

CATS ON TUESDAY

Kim finally doesn't sleep outside so often anymore, her tent too has been put away so when she naps inside she choose a very practical (for me) place ! The kitchen table ! I don't know why she just choose that, each time I come into the kitchen I think there is a black mop laying on the table.



Arthur since Rosie was spayed (see post below) is sleeping in my wardrobe. I really don't know why either, the only reason could be that Rosie found back all her strength and washes him too much and also wants to play ! Poor Arther is overworked !


He was quite upset when I opened the door and he was suddenly in a flashlight.

I had the good intention to make a picture of each of my cats with a Father Christmas to be send to my friends. With Arthur I hadn't any troubles because when he sleeps you can put anything on and around him usually he doesn't even open one eye.



But here he exceptionally opened both not when I put the Father Christmas on him, but when I took the photo. I had dared to interrupt his sleep !



I wanted to put Pookie in another more decorative place then my bed, but she was very upset and jumped back on the bed immediately. Then I was allowed to put that thing besides her and take a picture. At her face you see she wasn't in a very good mood for posing.



Lisa didn't care, she realized imediately that it was nothing to eat, she was already thinking of her next meal. She just had eaten.



Rosie of course thought it was a new toy and attacked poor Father Christmas immediately no way to take a nice picture



she just dropped him !



and with Kim of course it was impossible to put the little doll besides her, she would have run away immediately. So I thought this picture would do it too, there is some Christmas decoration in the background.

I still have some time before I need the pictures and maybe another day they will be better models with a nicer background !

ROSIE : IT IS OVER !

(for those who have read this already scroll down I added some news)

I am glad it is over ! Yesterday I picked up Rosie from the vet, and she is fine.


Before our trip to the vet, she played with Arthur in my wardrobe and then they settled down on the bedlinnen of course !


When I had to go, I brought the cage from the basement to the kitchen and put it on the floor. Rosie looked at it, of course she didn't remember that she had travelled this way when I picked her up from her mom when she was 6 weeks old


At that time the cage seemed enormous, now Rosie fully fits in. I didn't even have to push her, she went in there by her own. What a good cat !


Once sitting in the car, she was not so sure of herself anymore, but she behaved well, didn't "sing" at all only from time to time she made a plaintive "meauw".

The vet, a very nice lady, lives not far and when we arrived, she already waited for us. I put Rosie on the table and opened the cage, she came out immediately and sat down on the Vet's blouse. We talked a little together, it was the first time my Vet saw Rosie, from all my cats she of course reminds Arthur the best. He helped her once he had to spend a night with her, by walking around in the consulting room and observing sick cats and dogs. She couldn't keep him in the cage because he was so noisy with his loud siamese voice !

And while we were talking about Rosie, she gave her a little shot to calm her down and make her sleepy. So when I left Rosie was almost sleeping and didn't really realize what had happened to her.

When I picked her up she still was a little groggy and didn't say a meauw during the whole trip home.


When we arrived, she went immediately in this little basket close to the radiator. She didn't eat anything but during the night she slept as usual with me with her little head close to mine. Nothing special happened. In the morning I finally had the opportunity to see her belly


and it looks like this. No stitches nothing, just a little shaved square with this belly button like hole. Now I understood why she could walk and jump as if nothing had happened ! Apparently since I had Lisa spayed some 15 years ago, things have changed !



and she sleeps again on my bed to recover.

And now she is completely back to herself !

A BAD DAY FOR ROSIE

Karen Jo did this nice Limrick for Rosie.

Today is a bad day for Rosie I have to take her to the vet to get neutred. Yes, it's already time I just can't believe it. But she is 7 months old today and it is (apparently) great time. I wanted to wait a little bit because she is still such a small little cat, but the vet had his word to say ... it is great time !





Yesterday evening I had some Christmas pudding which I got from my English friend and Rosie liked it ! She even ate a little piece.

This morning of course she is not allowed to eat and I hide behind my computer not to see her big eyes asking me, why don't you feed me this morning ? I am sure she feels that I am not behaving normal although I try.



The last time I had to do this was with ol' Lisa but that was 15 years ago ! Arthur doesn't count, he is a male and that was done very quick and a few hours later he played around as usual.

But for a little female it's different she will have stitches and has to rest.

In one hour I have to go ! Think of Rosie !

CHRISTMAS DECORATION

CATS ON TUESDAY

Last saturday I started my Christmas decoration, by asking Mr. Gattino to bring them up from the basement. He brought me a carton and when I opened it it was the easter decoration ! Instead of finding angels and the crip, I found Easter bunnies and eggs ! You should have seen my face !

Arthur was observing what was going on and listened to the "conversation" when I sent Mr. Gattino to the basement again to bring up the right carton !

I then put everything on the table. Rosie observed my doings with big eyes and Arthur came too but made a bored face, he knew that stuff since years !

More and more came on the table and she was very intrigued by all this colorod things and had to check them thoroughly.

and when she had checked everything she just settled down in the middle and looked cute !

and now since the room is decorated her favourite place is up here to watch TV together with an angel.

ARTHUR INTERRUPTS HIS HIBERNATION

WCB is hosted this week by charming Samantha and Tigger

Sir Arthur suddenly came out of his hibernation for a short while, just to show that he is still alive.






and he proved it by playing in the bath tube.



But it didn't last very long. After this enormous effort he collapsed on the couch to continue his sleeping marathon.
