CATS ON TUESDAY
The heat wave continues and we get used.
Kim had her social day and gave us the honor of her presence and came even towards me when she saw me with my camera. The completely black fur of Kim has changed and there are white and brown spots in it now. Strange.
Arthur the caring cat was afraid that my slippers would cool down and kept them warm for me although we had 30°C (87 F). It is in his nature to be kind
while Rosie airs her belly
When it cools down she goes mouse hunting. Without success so far. I saw her disappearing in the bushes, layed on the grass and played paparazzo.
Cats keep you fit ! (when they are not sleeping 24 h !)

Perhaps Kim's hair is changing due to aging (like humans). So, Arthur likes to cool down shoes; so does my Snowflake (maybe a "white" cat thing?) Love Rosie's little tosies showing in her "cooling" picture!

Umm it seems like Rosie doesn't mind the hot weather, she looks like she's busy playing in the bushes! Go Rosie!!

ReplyDeleteThey are doing what mine are in the heat. Is this a global heat wave? It has been way hotter than that here. I have to go buy more fans today. The cats will not go out until dusk, and hunt then. But I have to get them in early because the coyotes are around and howling at night. Stay cool, Gattina! (The MacLinky is down!!)

Believe the white and brown spots on Kim could be age. Hahaha, Arthur is forever helpful in his own way!

ReplyDeleteWe hate it, however it is not unusual. July and August are hot months here in Washington DC area, these are record breaking temps but really not so horrible.
I am glad to see you kitties managing to go out for a little while, especially in the shade. I love the colorful fur on Kim. It looks elegant!
