CATS ON TUESDAY

CATS ON TUESDAY

My cats suffer from the clima changes. Since I complained that there is no global warming anymore we are now sitting or better laying in a heat wave ! From 12 ° (57) we jumped to 30°C (86 F) and it will even become warmer said the weatherman !

The first day, Arthur enjoyed the warm weather and warmed up his "old" bones on the hot tiles of the patio

But after a day he already preferred the shade

Joined by Rosie they play "dead"

Rosie likes to sit in the bushes and watch what is going around ! If ever a cat dares to cross the garden she jumps out on him or her and the poor visitor nearly gets a heart attack. But then she quickly turns around and hides because she is everything else but not a hero !

When it becomes really too warm for Arthur he offers me this view

Rosie returns in her bushes and eats grass, she says that it's very good for her stomac.

Unfortunately she doesn't eat enough so that I could use her as a lawnmower.

  1. Whew! Looks like a very hot day! We had enough of the heat last summer and now we enjoy the rainy season, it's much cooler now.

Rosie just keep watching for intruders! MOL!

  2. Cats are experts in relaxing.
Rosie's well camouflaged among the leaves in the garden. Can hardly make her out.

  3. LOL I don't think Rosie would like to be a kind of lawnmower hehehe!Funny!
    Hello sweet friends, bonjour!
Yessss, these days are great to take sunbath and enjoy a good nap!
I would love to play "dead"with Arthur and Rosie there!
Mommy was not sure if the grass could be good for me, now she will allow me to taste some, because I've already "crazy"about LETTUCE! LOL
This weekend mommy and I went outside to play at the grass around my appartment, it was really an adventure to me because I'm an indoor cat.I liked it, but I became tired faster and I preferred to go inside home to take my nap, after it!
But it's good to exploring outside!
    Love you dear friends!

  4. We do the same when it is HOT! We play dead in the shade ~ and Arthur's pose reminded mom so much of Alfie Marshall in the heat, that she larfed and nearly choked on her coffee!

    Milo xx

We love Rosie in the bushes too (It's wot Milo does!)

  5. Now your weather is more like summer! Arthur and Rosie's poses are very much like the gang here. :)

  6. I remember one heat wave that was so bad that I bought an air conditioner. For the cats! I hope you get out of that heat wave soon, they are miserable. But it gives me great photos of your kitties . . . Rosie and Arthur crack me up!

  7. Honestly, I was jealous last week when I read about your weather. It’s been in the 90’s here (F) and humid. Now I see it’s getting quite warm there too. I like how Arthur and Rosie are playing dead. Lucy and Simba do that too. They love to soak up the sun and heat and then come inside, flop down and not get up for a long time. LOL about Arthur’s “view” and Rosie waiting for unsuspecting kitties. I think I need to change my blog posts to post on Tuesday and join in on the fun.

  8. That does look like it got a lot hotter. I am familiar with the "dead" pose when it gets really hot - Luna does the same thing.

  9. Oh it sounds like it is getting too hot! We think that staying in the shade or bushes (or even better inside if it is cool) sounds like the best idea!!

  10. Oh that Arthur is such a silly boy! LOL!

  11. It seems like it's hot everywhere except where we are! I'm sure we'll get a big dose of the hots by August, though!

Rosie and Arthur you had me worried when I saw you playing dead like that. Well now I know Rosie is o.k, still not sure about Arthur with his paws in the air and flat on his back.

  13. LOL love that Road Kill look. Target is eating grass too this week. I keep telling him cats are carnivores but he just chews away and purrs.

  14. So cute. There is a beige cat which has adopted Mr M. She knows exactly when he comes home and she shows up to be fed and admired.
