It happened while Mr. Gattino cut a little steak into small pieces, Arthur jumped on the table and into the scissors Mr. Gattino uses for this purpose, and had his whiskers cat off ! Mr. Gattino suffered more than Arthur who didn't realize at all and swallowed the little pieces with pleasure !
And then he settled down for a long nap, but .... hiding his missing whiskers !
Oh dear. He must look funny now. Will it grow back?

Was the steak actually meant for him, though ??

Poor Arthur! Scoop brushed against a candle when he was a young cat, and lost half his whiskers. They took about 2 weeks to grow back to a decent length. While they were growing he kept bumping into things... poor cat couldn't reconcile his body width with his lost whiskers!

ReplyDeleteKeine Sorge, die wachsen wieder nach!!! Unsere Kinder haben Luna auch mal die Barthaare auf einer Seite geschnitten. Das dauert etwa 3 Monate. Da war ich echt ganz schön sauer auf diese kleinen Monster.
