CATS ON TUESDAY

CATS ON TUESDAY

Rosie the sweet innocent looking pretty girl, who tidies up her mousies and plays with them

like here, before the puts them in the food bowls during the night, turned out to be a cruel executioner, who has decapitated a real mouse !!

When Mr. G. came in the kitchen yesterday morning to check if there was enough food for his darling cats what did he find ... a mouse head, thoroughly cut off the mouse body ! It seemed to him that the mouse was smiling ! Fortunately Rosie hadn't put the head in a food bowl and just left the head there to look at the bowls. Isn't she kind ?

and there she sat, the innocent girl, probably digesting the mouse's left overs.

Arthur doesn't know what to do with himself because outside it rained, so he stayed near the heating or even ironed my T-shirts which I had put there to dry. Otherwise he keeps an eye on Mr. G.'s food and if there is something interesting he just helps himself like he did yesterday evening. In no time while we watched TV and had salmon toast I saw him stealing a slice of salmon on Mr. G's plate and ran away to eat it somewhere in peace.

But as soon as the sun came out I found him in the front of the house taking a sunbath.

Pookie's life doesn't change with the weather, she sleeps, eats, plays and purrs and Kim again is invisible.

Please don't forget to visit each other !

  1. Oh my goodness - that Rosie is a very good hunter - and yes, she looks so innocent! So nice of her to leave the mouse head for you to find! lol Pookie is like Sam - he eats, sleeps, purrs and eats some more! Nice to see Arthur got a nice sunbath! Well, now Buster is anxious to tell you what we've been up to!

  2. Paws up, Rosie! Once, the cat before me brought home a squirrel head to show off to my human. It was perfectly severed and ready to be mounted. But of course my crazy human did not mount it.

  3. Rosie - I'm shocked! It does show a certain artistic style to leave the poor little mouse's head where she did - very Damian Hirst. The thought of Arthur making off with the salmon is hilarious and I'm glad to see Pookie is still just being Pookie. Don't tell me Kim is outside in this cold weather - get indoors quick!

  5. Oh Rosie...who would have thought such a cute little girl like you could be such a cruel head decapitator. And to leave the poor head to look at food that it can no longer eat....
Hey Arthur, come over here if you want more sun puddles. We have PLENTY to share.

Rosie, the Fearless Hunter! One haf to eat the prey in the dining area, of course! A piece of salmon sneaked from a plate sounds great to Sissy. She luf human food, but the human won't let her haf any. Could you send some to Sissy, Arthur?

  12. How is a mouse Or Mr. G's snacks to survive with Rosie around!

Well now that Arthur's ironing he needs to learn to do the laundry!

Pookie is like my cats. Lives on a rigid schedule. Eat, sleep, Eat, sleep! Pookie at least plays, mine are way to lazy.

  16. eeeww, Rosie! I'm sure you are quite proud of yourself, good little hunter! Arthur--sneaky food stealer! Perhaps he makes up for this by tending to the ironing.
Pookie is more like my kitties lately--napping through all the gloominess.
