CATS ON TUESDAY

CATS ON TUESDAY

On one day (!) last week the sun was shining and I was cleaning the terrace. Rosie took the opportunity to play hide and seek with me in the bushes. She played around and looked for mousies, and ran through the garden as if the devil would chase her.

But not for long, because suddenly a thunderstorm came up and when I heard the first thunder, I saw a white flash flying in the house, it was only Arthur who had showed up from nowhere, he is afraid of thunder.

I found him hidden in the wardrobe amongst the winter coats, and he came only outside when the danger was gone ! Arthur is a real hero !

I had to buy a new netbook for travelling because my other one gave up it's soul and it was too expensive to get it repaired. So now I am proud owner of an Asus netbook which Rosie had to inspect immediately too.

and Pookie overlooks the whole household from the top of the sofa and keeps a watchful eye on all of us. Thunder, rain or sunshine, Pookie never changes her daily routine.

  1. Rosie is well camouflaged in the bushes.
LOL, I can't stop laughing. Can imagine the white flash! Somehow big macho males are more a coward than petite females. Arthur - my hero!
    Love your new Asus netbook.
Ooo, Pookie is certainly comfortably up on the sofa; no wonder she doesn't want to move.

  5. Hi Gattina! I never thought cats were afraid of thunder until I moved to Vermont. And now the cats, not the dogs, hide from the storms. My daughter says it is because they can feel the electricity in the air. That is so funny about Arthur running in that quick!

  16. Looks like Rosie was having a good time and poor Arthur--thunder can be so scary! Sometime I'd like to get a notebook or a netbook if we can ever afford it. I had one when I took the kids to Florida in 2001 but it gave up a couple of years ago. They sure are too expensive to fix!

  21. So cute and how unique all their personalities are.
I think my Marshmellow is scared of his own shadow, and yet he is the one who attacks Pearlene the chihuahua twice.
