CATS ON TUESDY - How to make a header

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

CATS ON TUESDAY

I wanted to make a new header for my blog Writer's cramps. For this purpose I took the basket I had decorated for spring, my "baby" computer and a book about cats. I thought this would nicely represent writer's cramps.

What I hadn't seen was the mirror in my cat collection vitrine.

I saw myself kneeling on the floor. This wasn't very serious. Meanwhile Rosie had showed up and wondered what I was doing there on my knees.

Photobucket

immediately she decided to be part of the picture

Photobucket

I kindly asked her to go away

Photobucket

but she had first to check on the book

Photobucket

then the computer

Photobucket
finally the basket with fake flowers, so not very interesting

Photobucket

suddenly I saw my chance ! this was a nice header ! But no, I was again in the picture !!

Finally Rosie did me a favour and sat in the right place to hide myself, still kneeling on the floor with my camera. I decided for this picture then. What a photo session !

After that, looking out of the window I saw Arthur checking on the neigbor houses.

first one

then the other. My neighbours told me that they are so happy that Arthur is back from his hibernation and that he does his visits again. I am sure in a while he will put on weight !

  1. What a great series of photos. The same thing happens whenever I try to take pictures...everyone has to help! But Rosie is a wonderful model.

It is good to see Arthur outside enjoying the spring weather!

  7. Hahaha! It's so true, when you want to take a lovely photo, a cat appears to check everything out and ends up being in the photo. And I could see you in the mirror!

So Arthur is out and about in the neighbourhood again...the weather us obviously getting warmer for him.

  8. We think Rosie looks nice in the photo. We kitties hide from pictures you want us in, and insist on being in the ones you don't want us in it seems.

  10. Lovely photo session! It's so true...when I would like one of the gang to pose, they don't want to do it. But let me try to take a picture *without* them and they must come and be in the picture anyways, LOL!

  12. Rosie is quite the model/photographer's assistant, don't forget to give her an extra treat for her services.

Arthur looks like he is really happy to be out and about. Bet he will fatten up with all his neighbor visiting.

  14. That last picture with Rosie among the objects is perfect. It's funny how the cats want to be part of everything.

  15. Very beautiful photos. I just loved them. I am too scared to let my cats outside, Skitto was shot with a b b gun in the head so they never go out anymore. God bless.

  16. I took a polaroid picture of my ex-mother-in-law's new bedroom one time. As it started to develop... I said.. what is that dark thing in the middle.... There on the floor, smack in the dead center of the picture was Shamroc, one of my Siamese. He was posed and looking straight at the camera and I had not even known he was in the room.

  17. Rosie is smarter than you realize.
And Arthur again pleases the neighbour. It's spring in the Air.
