CATS ON TUESDAY
When I opened the stores this morning, it was white outside !
Rosie couldn't believe it !
she had thought it was over now until next year and I had thought it too. She informed Arthur of this catastrophe and told him that she wouldn't go out not even for all mousies in the world, she gets cold paws and she doesn't like that at all !
She sighed and decided to start a 24 h nap or maybe more until the snow would melt !
Arthur didn't even have a look, just opened an eye and continued his winter sleep.
Remember my difficulties to give Lisa a pill ? I solved the problem !
I crash the pill into powder and mix it with this pasta treat. Then I had put it on her front paws and she had to clean it off of course ! I was the winner ! Now I put it on the end of the spoon and push it in her mouth when she sleeps and thinks there is no danger ! This works too.
Then she is very offended and runs away. But the procedure is forgotten quickly until the next day it starts again.
Please don't forget to visit each other !!
We also have snow but so much more than you. My dogs don't even like it out there. They go out for a few minutes and that's it.

We have no more snow but our cats do this 24 hours sleep in the house too.
ReplyDeleteI´m so glad to read that it works with Lisas pills in the vitamin pasta.
I think it is more stressless for her to have the pills in this way.

We are getting more snow as we speak! My cats are disgusted with the snow and are back to the winter napping again.

Both Rosie and Arthur are so cute using sleep to spent the snowing time, they are very very adorable and clever :)

It was nice this weekend but it is snowing again today! Arthur and Rosie have the right idea sleeping all day.

Oh no, I am sorry about the snow. We have had very little bit of snow here... very unusual....everyone is getting piles of snow and we are bored over here... perhaps that is okay, probably saves the road cleaners some money.

ReplyDeleteI tried doing that, putting it on the paws, with a cat I had several years ago. He stared at his paw with an offended look, then flicked it and the stuff landed on the side of the fridge! It was so funny, I split my sides laughing.
We have to be up early to be smarter than a cat.

ReplyDeleteClever way of getting your kitty to take a pill. I have never heard of doing it that way. My three kitties don't need medication often. One of my darlings had to have a few teeth pulled not too long ago, and needed some medication after that. Lucky for us, they both came in liquid form.

I really want snow but it is avoiding my hometown like the plague. It is all around us but none here. I think it hates me.
