CAT SELFIES

It's quite a while that I haven't given news of my cats. First I was on holidays, then I had a lazy phase, then my little Pookie went to the rainbow bridge, she wasn't ill, she just was old 19 years and died peacefully at home with the help of our vet. The last two days she became more and more weak and one morning I saw that she had enough. I was happy to be able to help her going away forever after a happy life.

These are some of the last pictures, in the last week of her life she had become very skinny but still ate like a horse !

For a while I couldn't write about my cat family. Now they are three. But not the youngest once either. Kim is 18, Arthur 15 and little Rosie 10 ! Time goes by so fast !

It was very hot and Arthur needed a helping hand to keep up his head for a selfie !!

Rosie wanted to be scratched while taking the selfie

Only Kim was a good girl and looked proud in the camera while pushing the  button with her paw !

Hi Gattina. Great selfies of Arthur, Rosie and Kim.

We are very sorry to hear of Pookie's passing. She had a wonderful life with you and Mr. G. Thank you for loving her, and for making that difficult but loving decision to help her get to the Bridge.

Hugs.

I am sorry to hear of Pookie's passing over the Bridge, I think it is the hardest thing, to share the passing of one of our family. Sending gentle purrs to you all.
Your selfies are most excellent, in fact I think I shall try Arthur's method next time, seems a far more energy efficient way of taking a selfie, in fact I could stop asleep and peep could do it. MOL Erin

We are sorry to hear about Pookie. She looks like my kitty BooBoo who also lived to be 19--tabby girls are the best! Sending you purrs of comfort, from Spitty and his Human

I'm so sorry to hear about Pookie's passing. I too had a cat who lived to be 19, and it was so hard losing her. When you've spent that much time with a cat, there's definitely an empty place in your heart when they leave this world for the next. My compassion and condolences are with you and the rest of your feline family.

Good to see last pics of Pookie in the cat lineup. The other three cats look like they will be around for years to come.

So sorry to hear about Pookie. She was lucky to have you taking such good care of her, right up until the very end. It's difficult adjusting to not having a family member in the house when they've been there for so many years.
Poor Arthur, I hope he has more energy for his next photo!
I think Rosie found a new type of selfie stick.
Beautiful Kim - so cooperative for her selfie.

I am sorry to hear of Pookie's passing. She lived a long and much loved life with you. It is hard to make the final decision, but they let us know when it is time so we can help them go gently and with dignity.
Arthur and Rosie made me smile. It was lucky that Kim cooperated so well for her selfie.

We try our hardest to visit everybody on the hop, but we rarely make it all the way around, and now we are devastated to find out about Pookie. Had we known, we would have honored her on the hop. We are happy she was at home and in loving arms as she passed. Please accept our sincerest sympathy.
