CATS ON TUESDAY

CATS ON TUESDAY

If ever one day you won't hear from me anymore I died of a heart attack because of Arthur !!

Looking out of a window I saw something white in the window of the new house behind our garden, which is still under construction. I went on the patio and saw it was Arthur sitting there in the 3rd floor and looking over his kingdom ! Of course he had a wonderful view because the house is quiet high ! I screamed "Arthur !! what are you doing there ?" as if he would give me an answer.

Mr. G. joined me and Dominique (my neihgbour) too and when Arthur heard us speaking he shouted "meauws" from the window ! He has a very loud and strange voice, it sounds as if he meauws through a watering can.

After a while he suddenly disappeared inside the house and then showed up in our garden. I was relieved !

As the weather was so warm I took a deckchair and a book and was reading peacefully when I saw Arthur suddenly jumping in and out a bush ! I took my camera and shot ! Arthur disappeared like a white arrow behind the garden shed. Only later when I saw the picture on my computer I
noticed that he had a bird in his mouth !

Shortsighted as I am and without my glasses I hadn't even seen that ! the naughty boy !

When he came back there was no bird there anymore but in a twinge of generosity, he allowed me to rest my foot on his back.

Pookie too left her beloved bed and came out to sit besides me and enjoyed the sunshine.

I think Rosie had forgotten that the grass is full of little noisy insects and she was sitting there listening and watching one single butterfly who probably was lost !

Adventurous (naughty) Arthur! But he compensated by allowing you to rest your foot on him.

Wow Arthur is quite an explorer!
It's nice to sit outside when the weather warms up! We're going into winter now so we're envious!

I hope Arthur has a "catch and release" program! Being outside looks nice. Sunshine at last in Belgium!

Arthur! Poor little bird. You were just being a cat. It sounds as though you were quite busy having lots of adventures.
Pookie and Rosie looks like they enjoyed being outside too.

I know how you feel, when you saw Arthur on the third floor, remember Prudence when she carried her kitty on the roof and kitty was dangling in her mouth. Well they will be okay they know how to handle it.

Kitties looks like enjoying spring! And the bird...oooh poor one!

Naughty Arthur! I would have been scared seeing him that high in the window. Then he was hungry and caught a birdie! I'm glad Pookie came out and felt the sun in her furs. And of course Rosie is precious!

Oh dear...I hope it was a House Sparrow or a Starling since the world has a few extras of those anyway. But what a good hunter he is! I love the way you make the little collages of your kitties. Such a neat way to show their photos.

Gatina, we larfed and larfed at Arthur getting up in to the window of the new house ~ anthough we can understand that it must have been worrying. Thank goodness he got down safely! Then to catch a bird! He's a real character!

We're glad you all enjoyed the sunshine.

Naughty boy Arthur! Climbing high in
a building so mom would be worried!
Rosie and Pookie look so happy outside! My kitties are a little
frightened outside my house, sometimes there's too much traffic or noise and it scares them! :(

My goodness! I am so used to pictures of Arthur lying about sleeping I really didn't recognize him! ;) And he caught a mouse too! No wonder you were about to have a heart attack. Glad the weather's so nice where you are. It's getting nicer again here too. :)

Dear Gattina, this is a great post.

But I hope you understand when I say our thoughts and minds are concentrated regarding Stompa, who is still missing.
OK, I did post.
Not with pleasure at all, just to say it.
Just to inform about the Fact.

Glad to see you are all out enjoying the nice sunshine! Arthur, please be careful up in that window ... we're with Gattina (you're going to give us a heart attack, too!).

I love your cat stories! I miss my cat, but I fear if I get other cats in my house, I will lose them again, due to the traffic passing my house. Your cats are lovely!!
Thanks for your visit!
BTW I tried to comment on your other blog about the festival, but got blocked. Your festival in the castle must have been great!

Do worry, Gattina, Arthur has 9 lives.

Now for not so nice cat news,

My friends of cats in Singapore are fighting the govt.

there is an island, the AVA is going to put down the cats.

13 kittens/cats at St. John's Island will be put down by AVA (who has an office there) in a week's time.
Need urgent help for fosters and adoptors.

If you know of any indiv/group/ society who can help these cats, or organise a spay program to end the breeding problem at the island, pls email to jol.wongxl@gmail. com
