JALOUSIE AND GRASS

Image Hosted by ImageShack.us

CATS ON TUESDAY

Pookie still is jalous although she tries very hard not to show it. But she does things she never did before like playing with a kitchen roll or even with a string hanging down from my blouse when I bent over her to pet her. But she tries not to hiss anymore or only when Rosie wants to touch her. And as soon as I am sitting on the sofa she immediately jumps on my knees just to say "This is my place" ! It makes us laugh but on the other hand I am a little sad for her, but I think by the time she will realize that we still love her just like before Rosie's arrival.

Pookie playing like mad with the kitchen roll and she even tried to get in Rosie's little carton. Dreams and reality !

But for a picture she does as a star, she shows a perfect harmony in family life !

Rosie discovered grass ! For two days she didn't leave the terrace and only stayed on the tiles, stretching out sometimes a little paw and then suddenly she tried it and loved it !

and all these odors ! It smells so good ! But she only stays outside when I am there and at the slightest unknown noice she runs in the house.

And when she had explored enought for the first time, she just felt asleep on the sofa !

Blogger refused to upload pictures I had to use Photobucket.

Aw, Blogger can be the pits! I'm glad you were able to upload the pictures with Photobucket -- they are so cute! The Pookie/Rosie drama is funny and as you say, Pookie is so expressive. Rosie looks pretty out on the green grass. And exploring is a lot of work, so she deserved her deep slumber. ;-)

Poor Pookie. She will come around in time, though, with lots of attention! The picture of Pookie and Rosie togetehr is very sweet. Rosie looks like she's having fun exploring the grass.

(I almost always use Photobucket for photos, since Blogger can be a real pain at times.)

Ah! Pookie wants to be sure you're not replacing her in your attentions. Love her up! Play with both Rosie and Pookie at the same time, she'll learn to know that they are equals in your eyes.

What a sweetie Rosie is! Aren't kittens just so adorable???

I notice that in the photo of them lying next to each other, Pookie's head is pulled back and away from Rosie. I think Pookie has to do these things in order to keep the hierarchy of the house in balance. She is the older female and Rosie needs to understand that (which she is). These things cats go through are fascinating.

One of Becky's college professors told her that animals don't have "feelings". I don't believe that for a second- they do too. Poor Pookie is probably feeling a bit hurt and rejected even though she's adjusting. Rosie is getting so big, and so adventuresome!

They grow so quickly! It is always so much fun to watch a kitten when it explores and finds new things like grass. I am glad Rosie is so happy and I hope Pookie feels normal again soon. My husband had to remember to share his lap back with Calista, she had it before Baby and in making up for Baby Calista has felt left out. Sometimes that balancing routine can get tough!

The zombie is here!
Pookie needs time to find her new place at home! And she exprimes her feelings; it's a good thing. She doesn't keep bad feelings in herself. And Rosie, so cute in the grass! I remember my own kitties. Profite bien! C'est tellement mignon les chatons!

Wow I can believe how much little Rosie has grown. A kitten always adds life to the entire household I think and she seems to be doing a good job waking up the other cats inner kittens.
I am glad Arthur's tail is getting better and that the other cats are accepting her better as each day goes by.
I have been reading your posts for the past week to get caught up and I just love the one picture of her all streached out in her bed.
I had to laugh too about her trying to get closer to the grass then deciding she liked it. MY Wikipedia was the exact same way when she wanted outside, Actually she still runs outside, smells the grass and all the outside smells then runs through the grass really fast, then up the patio swing and then cries to be let back inside!
Your Kim cat reminds me of my Zoe cat. He LOVES to be outside and only likes being inside in bad weather and to eat, sleep and use the litter box!

The one photo I love the most with Rosie in the grass is an award-winning photo. Of course, you have the cutest subject.

Luzie is also jealous like Pookie. She always want to show that she is the Boss of the catfamily.
Rosie is a cute and funny little cat.

Ich habe gerade 2 Reisen zu planen und vorzubereiten und bin deshalb in Stress. Das ist erst mal das letze Cot . Falls ich aber einen Internetzugang finde poste ich vielleicht mal. Bis Bald !!!

My favorite is the one where Rosie is napping on the sofa after exploring the great outdoors.

I love the way Pookie is trying out the things that Rosie is doing. It must have been really fun watching Rosie try out the grass for the first time.

I know what you mean when you say you feel a little sorry for Pookie. She probably feels her place in your life has been taken over by this little intruder. But it should all work out...let's hope.

Looking at Rosie with Pookie, she has grown quite a lot, you can see it in the photos.

wonderful that the kitties are interacting with Rosie and showing her that they are in charge... or at least trying to say that haha
Rosie is very very very cute.

Rosie is just soo cute, I'm sure Pookie will come around soon. I guess she must have a fear of being replaced in your affections, which would be why she is playing with things like Rosie does ... so you would notice. Poor kitty ... make sure you give her lots of extra hugs and cuddles.
Great photos.
Take care, MEow
